We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nacoochee Valley Lodge in Helen, Georgia, during Christmas! From the moment we walked into our room, we were amazed at the thoughtful and festive decorations—it truly felt like being in a cozy home for the holidays. Cindy even put up a beautifully decorated and lit Christmas tree just for us, which made the experience even more magical and personal!

Cindy went above and beyond to make our visit special. The room was fully stocked with goodies like hot chocolate, cookies, and other thoughtful treats that made us feel right at home. Every detail was carefully considered, from the festive décor to the little extras that made the experience both special and memorable. The room was also impeccably clean and exuded warmth and charm.

Cindy’s hospitality and attention to detail were incredible—it’s clear she genuinely cares about creating a magical experience for her guests. We highly recommend Nacoochee Valley Lodge to anyone looking for a unique, welcoming, and unforgettable place to stay. This will forever be one of our favorite Christmas memories!

Oh by the way we brought our service animals and had absolutely no issues whatsoever not one word nothing! I don't know what these other people were experiencing probably just upset with their own situations! I cannot say anything bad about this place, believe me it's worth a try!

Great setting for quiet and peaceful. 5-6 miles outside Helen. Super clean. 7 rooms. Owner on site. Sports Bar next door. Very safe and no loud noise. Dollar General 200 yards and 5-6 local restaurants and shops with 2-3 miles of the hotel. This is a great location.

My stay at Nacoochee Valley Lodge was absolutely perfect! The cabins were cozy and charming, with every little detail thoughtfully planned, from the convenient in room Keurig and variety of creamers to the luxurious towels. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the Dugout Sports Bar, just a short walk away—convenient and serving fantastic food. The location couldn’t be better, just minutes from Helen and close to some beautiful waterfalls. Waking up to see a deer outside was truly magical. I can’t wait to come back for another stay!

The lodge is quaint and cozy, with comfortable rooms equipped with a Keurig, complete with coffee and creamer. The beds had plenty of pillows, and they were wonderfully comfy. It’s just a short drive from Helen, where you can spend the day exploring the charming shops and fun activities. Afterward, head back to the lodge for a meal at The Dugout, located upfront, where you’ll find delicious food and friendly staff. The lodge also features a nice spot with a fire pit and horseshoes, perfect for family time. For nature lovers, there are several nearby waterfalls to explore, listed on the provided map. The hosts were fantastic, making our stay even more enjoyable.

This place is a "hidden" gem. It's easy to find, but it needs more popularity. Terrific, spacious, clean room. Cindy is a gracious hostess. If you are ever in north Georgia (Habersham/White Counties), stay at this wonderful location.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nacoochee Valley Motel! The cabin-like room with rustic decor made our stay very enjoyable, and the location was convenient to the places we wanted to visit.
Reasonably priced, spacious rooms, and the new owners made us feel very welcome.
