Great place to stay. Perfect location and all the staff was friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean and the decor was reminiscent of the historic inn that it is. We had a complimentary beer/wine at the next door lounge and the restaurant downstairs was so convenient with great food. The staff made us feel like family. A home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at the East Bay Inn was exceptional. The staff was courteous, responsive and extremely helpful. The hotel itself has such charm and is in an excellent location. Parking was so easy - the lot beside the Inn is small but the parking deck (if needed) is less than a block away and was not crowded at all when we were there. The onsite restaurant was convenient for breakfast/brunch before we headed out to explore for the day, and the food was very good. The complimentary coffee/tea/water/soft drinks were great to have. Housekeeping came every day of our 5 day stay and did a great job tidying up and replenishing towels, snacks and waters. We will definitely we back.

We had a wonderful stay at the East Bay in. It wasn't our first and certainly won't be our last. The room was clean and well-appointed, matching the style of the building. The staff is amazing. They were helpful, friendly, and engaging. We loved the little snacks in our room and the free drink ticket we used each night. They even provide ear plugs in your room in case you are sensitive to noise (we did not have to use ours). I highly recommend this gem of Savannah.

The experience of staying here was great from start to finish. I chose East Bay Inn because of it's location and easy use of parking deck nearby (included in the stay). Convenient to walk to River Street and the downtown streets, but just far enough away from the heavy traffic to make it peaceful. The bed was comfortable, the room was fantastic with great charm and the mini fridge was very convenient. Loved being able to look out over Bay St and closing the curtains at night significantly reduced the noise level. Loved the quaint feel of the place and the staff was very nice and helpful. I will stay here again on our next visit!

The location is prime - close walk to the river, shipping, and any food you'd want. Hotel itself is gorgeous and historic. It really makes you feel like you’re in old Savannah. Free parking. Customer service was spectacular. They brought our bags up to our room while we were out exploring. Free water bottles and snacks. I suggest staying on the third floor if you don’t want to hear footsteps above, but the rooms came with nice earplugs so it wasn’t an issue.

What a wonderful experience! At arrival Charles helped us with our bags right from the car! Kindly put them in our room. He asked daily if our needs were being met and had nice conversations with him. The staff, Jennifer especially, were excellent. Knowledgeable about the area and so friendly. The Saff, facility, and warmth of the accommodations could not be beaten!

Great location, charming room… but not worth it. Do NOT recommend

The hotel’s in a great location, and the room had a nice historic charm but the issues made it very hard to enjoy.

The worst part was the noise. We were in Room 322, right on Bay and Lincoln. All night long, trucks hit a pothole outside at full speed and shook the whole room. Even with earplugs, sleep was nearly impossible. For further context, the speed limit is suppise to be 30 mph, but all the 18 wheelers have to take that road to get to the other interstate and they are going 50-60 mph at night..

Then there was the mold and dust. Th furniture had visible mold, and the air vent blew musty air straight onto the bed like a blow dryer.

And no microwave?...why.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one deserved a warning. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I have never stayed in any historic Inns before and I think the East Bay Inn is going to make it very difficult to stay anywhere else from how high they have set the bar. The Rooms are like stepping back in time but still have all the modern stuff you would want. Staff was awesome and you get alot of perks as a guest of theirs. I will not be staying anywhere else in Savannah! The location is fantastic, for the few days we were there we did not use the car at all!
