I do not recommend that hotel. The bathroom is dirty, the place smells bad. I paid for two nights and only stayed one. You can't sleep there because of the septic tank smell that comes up through the bathroom pipes. There's a lot of noise at night, including some low-class guests staying there. At 6 a.m. in the parking lot, they had horrible music playing at full volume. They're inconsiderate. I gave them $140, and they still wouldn't refund the extra fee they charged me for the dog. I definitely do not recommend it.

Pretty decent prices for a nights stay. The front desk lady was helpful and kind. I did really like the new upgrades such as the furniture and bathroom mirror. I do feel that if they hired more cleaning staff or had more in-depth cleaning protocols this place would have much higher reviews. The toilet had hair and urine caked onto the hinges. Also found some questionable hair in the shower walls/drains. I read that other reviews spoke of a mildew smell in the lobby but I didn’t notice that at all. Just overall cleanliness issues in the rooms, but if that doesn’t bother you I’d recommend staying here for a cheap stay.

Extremely clean. No carpets yeah. Big bottles in shower nice brand. Only thing lacking soap at sink. But for 1 night i could reach into shower. Quiet. Nice breakfast. Room thermostat worked well.

Room and service was excellent. Food was primo. Loved the pancake machine. This is our go to place in Savannah. More light on the bedside tables would be good if possible because some of us like to read at bedtime to relax. Thanks for all.

The room appeared clean when I walked in, but there’s clearly a lot of short cuts being taken. The drain in the bathtub is absolutely clogged with hair, which I discovered when trying to figure out how to plug the tub and it lifted out. Found hairs in other places too in the bathroom, which really does gross me out. They have one single roll of single-ply toilet paper, which feels like sandpaper on your bottom.||There’s also something gross on the smoke detector and I have no clue what it is nor do I want to look any closer than I already have to figure it out. ||Breakfast is free! But make sure you get there well before 9 am when it closes. Even McDonald’s serves breakfast until 10 am. ||Finally, the WiFi is awful, and apparently the hotspot is down by my room. I called the support line and they put in a ticket to have a technician come out Monday. But even if the signal was working, why do you give people a “WiFi password” when checking in, when no password is even needed for the “Wingate Guest WiFi”? It’s an unsecured WiFi without a password and I wouldn’t have felt safe doing work while logged into it. The “password” seems like it’s meant to trick you and I don’t appreciate it.

Besides finding a container of Chinese food in the refrigerator from the last guest, and the fact we couldn't hang up our clothes because the clothes rack was coming off the wall, it was a nice quiet stay.
Beds were comfortable pillows were fluffy and the heater worked well as it was in the '30s outside.

We stayed here on our way to Florida and on our way back. Rooms were typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy. They were clean, quiet and had comfortable beds. The attendant at night (we checked in after midnight both times) was extra accommodating. He remembered our group on the way back and changed us to connecting rooms without us even asking. Breakfast was typical, but had a cool pancake machine that the kids loved. Will always stay here on any future Florida trips.

Mouldy shower curtains, crusty grime on the soap dispensers and soap crust on the bathtub, sink dirty and rusted, holes in the wall with electrical coming from the mirror, fly screen off the window laying on the floor, and the walls were paper thin. This place was definitely forgettable, and we’re thankful we only had to spend one night.
