Iconic! This Frosty Inn has been operating since 1960. The chocolate malt alone would be worth driving an hour to get. Cheeseburger and fries very good too. Folks working were friendly and helpful. I truly felt like I was in a time machine back to the 1970s. Some of the old yellow tables are even original. Hopefully classics like this will make a comeback. Highly recommend!

I used to love this place. After tonight's experience never will I ever be back. Rude manager, children running the place, no one knows what's going on. Had a call in. Got there it's cold. Then I paid 16 dollars for a hotdog and fries. Unacceptable. The older lady in there didn't get my last name which made it hard for the kids to find my order. Then she wouldn't let them ring me up at first. Like why?!

Old-school dive with tasty fried foods and delicious milkshakes. And Dole whip!!! Stoped in while driving to Dismal Canyon, and lunch was delicious. But please, beware of what the place is, and don't ask it to be more: a classic burger & fries joint. I had two chili dogs that were really good - the chili is great - and tater tots that we're just fantastic. The chicken sandwich looked like a good stylist had prepared it and it was so good! The onion rings we're also done simply perfect. Dole whip to finish the meal was an unexpected treat.

The dining room is small, but there is a nice outdoor window when it is busy. Service was fine - wait in line to order and pay, and they call your number when it's ready. The menu is on a plastic board above the registers. Old-fashioned, and it tastes like it!

Nostalgic and worth a visit even if food is mediocre at best (honestly). Definitely is a landmark location.

I'm usually very forgiving, but I waited over 30 min for a hot dog and tots. Business was steady and didn't appear to be short staffed. Was passing thru town and seen the building. Looked up the history and seen it was on TV recently. Hotdog was ok, but I've had way better. Tots were plain and unsalted. Sweet tea was prob the best thing I got. You would think being in business for so long, that the inside would have some cool memorabilia on the walls, but they are mostly bare with a few random pictures hanging up. Wanted to try the soft serve, but didn't want to wait another hour to get my ice cream. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

Good dive out here in Russellville, AL. I did not try the food but judging from the menu it seemed to be burgers, hotdogs, bbq, fries. They are still understaffed like most places so it was a bit of a wait. They have tons of flavors of soft serve, and the staff is kind.

Onion rings and homemade ranch were tasty. Burger was pretty small, but lettuce/tomato was fresh. Lemon lime drink was odd.

Best chicken fingers anywhere! Always a place to stop if in town! You won't be disappointed.
Update: I know the owners changed but the chicken finger plates are still great! Will always be a favorite
