Clean nice restaurant, friendly staff, good service, cold beer. Issues: we came in on what happened to be apparently karaoke night, music and singer was blasted at near max volume. Other tables were covering their ears. Fries were okay, could do with the extra effort of making hand cut fries as a side, catfish were great, hush puppies were atrocious they are the ones you can get frozen in a bag at the dollar store (Savannah classics brand) undercooked and super greasy. Salad bar was very clean and well stocked great salad. Has a good shot at being very successful as it’s one of the only sit down places in the area. But has a long way to go to live up to the reputation of prior restaurants in that location. I will go back again possibly at a later date when I know there’s no music and menu changes have occurred.

Delicious food and friendly people. Neat little gift shop, too. Loved the shirts!
Loaded gator taters were awesome!
We loaded up on multiple basket meals and enjoyed all of the items.

10/10 all around. Hands down the BEST fried shrimp we’ve ever had. (And salad bar, loaded gator tators, fried catfish, hush puppies, and key lime cake) Customer service was phenomenal, food was fantastic, atmosphere (quiet lunch on a Saturday) was perfection. I saw a post on Facebook and we decided to make the 40 min drive to try it out. Will 100% go again.

First time. Valentines day dinner. Steak was absolutely phenomenal! Hats off to the cook! Great service. Food came out timely as well. Yall need to put that steak on the menu with another one. I haven't had a steak that good in months. Yall .... speechless.... Thanks to Gator Hole team for a great dinner.

Loved this place, will definitely be back. Only thing missing..music! Dining was so quiet was SO grateful they let us sit on back deck with TV for music, LOVED it! Food was awesome, the students and servers were very attentive as was the host. Everything was great!! Highly recommend. Best fried oysters and the Swamp burger ? that's not on the menu was the best.sent videos to friends who will be coming in with us next time!

My first visit. They happen to have live music, provided by a guy named Mike. He is an excellent musician with a wonderful voice. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him.
(I had the fried frog legs and okra, which I highly recommend. Didn't care for the coleslaw but my brother loved it.)

I am glad these folks are here in a place that I have been coming to for all of my life. The salad bar is excellent, the entres are just what you want from a traditional fish house. I had the grilled shrimp and they were very good, and I am hoping they will expand the grilled menu shortly.
