I went with The Villages RV club for a group Rally for 5 nights. We incorporated golf as well. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff - they went overboard to make our stay so fun and an absolute pleasure! We were able to do scramble tournaments too for everyone to participate in - even some who had never even played putt-putt golf. A lot of fun was had by all.
The new RV sites are really nice and spacious! They even had new corn hole sets and a new fire pit that we did all enjoy together. Leigh (GM) also had a local artist come in and lead a paint-n-sip painting class which was so much fun!!
We ordered pizza from another local business (Uncle Bill's) which was excellent and they were definitely the BIGGEST pizzas I've ever seen - very tasty.
Saw some very pretty sunsets too at the end each wonderful day.
Thank you so much to ALL the staff at Wanee Lake Golf & RV!! We will be back!!!

We stayed at the RV park for five nights. We found the park to be clean, modern, and safe. There are a mix of pull-though and back-in FHU sites, many of them plenty long enough for big rigs with toads.
The nine hole golf course is a challenging par 36. The course greens are in rough condition at the moment but we heard that improvements are planned.
There is a pool and a small bathhouse with washers and dryers available.
We had a very pleasant stay and will stay again when passing through on I-75.

We stayed at the cabin and it was so cute! The porch overlooks Hole 1 tee box. It is in excellent condition and very clean. The beds are upstairs. The seating in the living room area could be changed to be more comfortable. It might be helpful to have a sofa bed as seating in this area. The campground was full and a whole new section is under construction. Lovely staff who are super friendly and professional. We did not get to play golf but will next time! There is a swimming pool, tennis court, and large dog park. It is within about 5 miles to I75 so it is very convenient. I cannot say enough good things. We look forward to returning!!

stopped here for one night on my way up to South Carolina. Was pleasantly surprised by the new RV spaces and the reasonable prices for the camping. I played nine holes of golf. It was a fun course.

Our Villages RV Club held a rally there this week and had a great time! The golf course is challenging. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. We are booking again next year!

Going through the small town at night to get to the RV park was a little sketchy. Thankfully, we didn’t turn around to find a different rv park because Wanee Lake RV Resort was a breath of fresh air! It was well maintained, clean, quiet, safe and with nice gravel sites. Plenty of space between sites. We did not have any issues with parking or with the water pressure. We were only there for one night, but it was perfect. We will definitely be staying there again. The only thing we can recommend, is to arrive before dark. Great stay with an affordable price!

Stayed for a month and added the golf package with cart. The 9-hole course is fully a par 36 and a good challenge. Outdoor Adventures is making improvements so greens get a high amount of "gimmies". Campground and main office were good They would do well to open the Fire Ant Cafe since the town of Ashburn has very little to offer for restaurants that serve food in anything other than to-go containers.

We have been going to Florida in the winter for years. In the past, we have stayed at various KOA‘s. Most of them seemed a little sketchy. This year we decided to try Lake Wanee. We were very surprised and impressed. The campsites are beside a golf course. Everything is very neat and clean. It’s about 5 miles off the interstate, which is very convenient and quiet. The staff at the campground are very kind and accommodating. We ended up having to make numerous changes from the time we first made our reservation to the time we got there, and they were always very responsive and courteous, even while we were being high maintenance. The price is comparable to KOA’s in the area. This will definitely be our new stop over on the way to Florida. Highly recommend!
