I can't rate the atmosphere correctly because he brought the food into our office. When I tell that was the best meal that I have had in a LONG time it was. Good Ole souther cooking. ♡♡♡♡

This little gem right off 19 in leesburg Ga is now on my stop spot every trip. I didn’t get any before pics just after of the food. I was really hungry. They have an award for best souls food around and it’s well deserved. I had got some fried chicken collard greens n rice and with some corn bread and corn nuggets!
Chicken was juicy and the batter was nice and crispy collards cooked on point and I mixed them with the rice really good their Corn nuggets were a good ending to the meal. I will definitely be coming by here again soon!

Short version: Outstandingly good! Long version: As usual, I was out exploring on the motorcycle and I came across Big Chris Catering. The building is an old fast food place and it is a little beat up. Do NOT let that discourage you from pulling in. I was immediately greeted by an employee before I even got inside the restaurant. The owner and everyone working there were incredibly nice. I was chatting with them like I was a regular even though this was my first visit. It was great! The lady working the point of sale told me what they were serving today so I think the menu changes daily. I ordered the chicken tenders with a side of rice and gravy and greens. The chicken tenders were hand battered and fried to order. They were crunchy, juicy and had a great peppery taste. The rice and gravy was savory and the greens were the best I ever remember having. I was also given a sample of their watermelon icecream, which was very refreshing. It was a delicious and very satisfying meal. Not only did I leave full because of their great food but the experience I had with the staff just made my whole day better. Big Chris Catering is a definite ♥️ on my map!

I saw pictures posted by Londa Monnee and decided to go try it. I chose the baked chicken, collards, sweet potato crunch (not shown in picture), and cornbread. A serving of rice came with the plate. Everything was seasoned perfect for me. I enjoyed it enough to go back. The only downfall was the long line wait. Next time I'll call ahead. But definitely going back.

The food is primarily southern comfort foods. The food is flavorful and served hot. The portions are fair for the price. The people working there are friendly. They make the atmosphere. You don't go to this restaurant for the physical atmosphere. Foods that over had that were consistently tasty: chicken, meatloaf, greens, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. This time, I had the Philly cheese steak. It was very tasty, but too greasy for me. It had a tad bit too much salt. It didn't make the sandwich taste bad, but it was enough that I wondered how many calories it added to my meal.

I came on my lunch break and I got the lunch special the chicken breast, fries and a roll. When I got back to the office to eat I torn a piece off the chicken and the meat was bleeding. I told my boss that I had to go back because my chicken wasn't done. I'm on break and only get 30 minutes to eat. When I got there I told the lady at the register and she went and got him, and she proceed to tell him what I said. Then he looked at me and said "No, really". I'm like "Yes really, you can open the box up yourself and look." So, he went to the back put on gloves and seen what I said really was true. So he came out and said "Sorry about that I can cook you another breast it'll take 15 minutes though. But by me being on my lunch break which I told him those 30 minutes were up anyway. He didn't ask if I wanted anything else. I would've taken one of those peaches out of the cooler, after working 6 hours to get a 30 minutes break to have a bloody chicken and he didn't even offer me my money back or anything else. Very upset. So I left and went back to work hungry after working hard for my money. Having to paying for a meal that I really couldn't eat.
