To give a fair review, the property itself is a pretty nice property. The beds are comfortable. And they do a good job keeping it clean. It’s currently under renovation. 95% of the staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Both the front desk staff and housekeeping have been very good to me during my stay. Especially Matthew and Heather at the front desk have been incredibly friendly and professional . The Reason from my one star review was because of an issue I had with their new general manager. I have been staying at this hotel off and on throughout the last year in total several months worth of stays. And would have been here another month at least but this new manager has instituted a new policy with their incidentals. Which didn’t work for me the way with the way our company pays. I offered to put my own card on file, but that wasn’t good enough. The front desk staff even asked her to make an exception and said that I’ve been a very loyal customer and I’ve never caused a problem or damages. So the reason for my one star review is because this new manager has absolutely no loyalty for a very loyal customer and diamond member.

I used to enjoy staying here, the rooms are pretty nice, they are undergoing renovations currently. The staff is very friendly, the front desk and the housekeeping. All very friendly and helpful. Especially Matthew at the front desk. Probably the most friendly and helpful front desk gauge, and I’ve dealt with. I’ve only recently had issues with this hotel. They have a new general manager. And she has absolutely no loyalty for customers. I’ve stayed here a lot over the last year in total well over three or four months worth of stays. My corporate card covers the room rate and taxes. It won’t cover an incidental fee so I always choose hotels that don’t require one and only require having a card on file. And make my reservations a week at a time because I never know when I’m gonna get moved to another project. They now require an incidental fee at check-in and the front desk. Staff tried to work it out with her to make an exception and continue just to have my card on file that way I’m not every week waiting on another incidental fee to come back and be released. She refused to do that. She also refused to give me their district manager’s email for Work. I was hoping maybe he’d be willing to make an exception because he’s worked with me in the past with an issue and was very friendly and helpful. But she would not give me his work email. She has no loyalty for a very loyal customer. And in my opinion, doesn’t have much business sense. I’m just gonna switch Hotels and go back to one of the other hotels. I’ve stayed at here in town before when they were booked up here. Her unwillingness to make an exception for a loyal customer. Who’s never caused any problems at the hotel is gonna cost this property thousands of dollars on the weeks or months that I will no longer be staying here until this project is finished.

•Anything passed the lobby was a bit run down
•Room door top hinge was broken so the door had to be opened with lots of force and slammed to close (I stayed on the second floor)
•This was for several rooms near me because there was lots of door slamming throughout the evening and morning (I didn't report this because I only stayed one night and with that many doors being broken, I figured the staff should've already known)
•Side exit door was broken, so I parked near that door for nothing
•Rust and mold in sink and shower
•Bed was comfy
•Roach was in the tub that next morning UGH!!! I packed up and got out of there as soon as I saw it.
•I don't live with roaches and certainly don't want to lodge with them. I will not return to this location.

I chose this location due to the passing of my mother and stayed for 4 days. Due to funds being limited I was really between a rock and a hard place in staying somewhere with my budget for the funeral. The room didn't get cleaned out once. Even when I discussed this at check-in. If you see the pictures I posted, there was an assortment of issues from the 1st floor sideboard key entry disabled and partially apart either to vandalism or neglect by maintenance. From the light fixture in the bath (MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE), the cut out above the bathroom mirror, the sink having rust, paint on the shower curtain rod, sink counter looked like it wasn't wiped properly (luckily I keep Lysol wipes in my car), and what appears to be the smoke detector (In their defense [to a very tiny degree] I didn't look to see if one was indeed install and maintenance for whatever reason hasn't removed this from the ceiling). The emergency instructions you would assume is straight forward except they were for the 2nd floor and my room was on the 3rd floor! I didn't like the carpet; it wasn't the best looking on the 3rd floor and the subfloor about 35 feet from the elevator "NEEDS ATTENTION ASAP" before someone is filing a law suit when they fall through the floor. Overall on the carpet it was "not pleasing" to the eye throughout the hotel. The ice machine wasn't working on the 3rd floor had to go down to the first floor if I needed ice. And before I forget, there was no phone in the room. Thank goodness we live in a society where everyone has a cell phone so I could at least call 911 if it came down to it but if I had to call the front desk, I would have had to "Google" the damn hotel to get the front desk number! SMDH.||Of course, I informed management that allow this was very disappointing and that I only chose this location rather than my usual spot due to them having a better price. If only I could go back in time and just paid what amounted to an extra 14 dollars a day.||Do not stay here as the location is a slight step from the hotel/motels slums. I regret greatly staying here, and I doubt I will stay at a La Quinta Hotel again in my lifetime if I can help it!

We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a decent option. The room was clean, with fresh carpets. The breakfast provided was adequate. The hotel's location is convenient, being right off Interstate 82 and next to a Longhorn Steakhouse. We have no complaints about our stay.

The room was clean and spacious. I had a lovely note from housekeeping that made a big impression. The front desk staff was very courteous and professional. Reservations said continental breakfast but it was a full spread. Will stay again.

A family member got us this room. Loved their tractor-trailer parking. Hated coming out to make that sharp turn right though. Loved their breakfast, and loved their cookies from yesterday. Laundry amenities was top-notch. Better than the laundry facilities I've went to and cheaper to wash and dry if you ask me. And they dry and wash fast. The bed slept wonderfully. I fell asleep within an hour of being in the room on the first night. I'd definitely come again. The receptionists were very friendly.

When I arrived I had no problems checking in. I admired the decoration and cleanness of the lobby. The workers were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends. I also liked that the hotel was close to a plaza that you could walk to.
