Great food and atmosphere!! I'm usually skeptical of restaurants next to water because I find they rely on location rather than food or service. Lake House & Tap has it all! Spectacular location. I was instantly greeted when I got there right at the opening for lunch. I had a smash burger and fries. The burger was made to order, hot and very good! The fries were crispy and pillowy on the inside. I really enjoyed my lunch. Then I enjoyed sitting by the lake to relax for a little bit. It was a very good experience. I'll definitely go again.

Solo lunch date and it was the perfect place to go. Nice little gem overlooking Lake Oconee with good food and warm friendly people. I enjoyed a delicious appetizer of Buffalo chicken wontons with a side of ranch and they did not skimp on the chicken! Also enjoyed my burger and onion rings. Will definitely be returning.

Service sucked we came in after lunch. Had no problem getting a seat. Our waitress finally came and took our order. We had a hamburger and a salad. Which took forever to get. Other people that ordered after us. Got their food before us. After we got our food. It took forever to get refills on our tea. The salad was like a bag salad from Kroger. They charged extra for the chicken. Which according to the menu it should have come with it. A $12 salad ended up being $22. Poor service high prices for mediocre food. I didn't recommend it. I didn't know what my coworker paid for his burger. But he didn't eat all of it he said it wasn't that good.

This place is normally pretty good… but tonight we had an experience that was unacceptable. We had a party of 10 which we gladly waited over an hour of a wait to be seated with many open seats because we understand how the food industry works.. However, 8/10 of us recieved our food before the checks came. 2 of us were sitting in wonder of paying a bill for food we hadn’t received with no explanation? Then when we asked for the food to be packaged to go, we still waited an additional 10 minutes. and to top it off, because i know the waitress is not responsible for the cooks actions, we were directly addressed by a server about our “ poor tips”. we NEVER tip less than 20%, except for in situations as this. it’s one thing to take the bite on a bad situation like this as a server, but to voice it to your clientele is outrageous.

Great atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly. The food was great. I had the Catfish basket with salad and my husband had the wings and salad. He said they were some of the best wings he has had. Would definitely go back.

Can't say enough about the re-branding efforts here... service, drinks and food were all outstanding. From the craft cocktails to each of the dishes we tried all were perfectly prepared with well balanced in flavor. If you haven't been here in a while you are definitely in for a treat!

Went to Lake House over the weekend and what a great restaurant! The views are amazing, with a lot of outdoor space. I have two young boys and they were easily entertained with the cornhole and frisbees out there. The food and drinks were great as well and the service was wonderful! This is also a great place to watch sports, as there are several tv's inside tuned to all major sports going on.

We had the shrimp po boy and catfish platter for lunch and both were fantastic! We sat on the lovely back patio right on the lake and watched the boats go by. Service was quick and very friendly. Will definitely be back again!
