The manager Walter is awesome. Made sure we had every thing we needed : IE extra pillows and towels. The first night at the hotel he let me do our laundry for free in the laundry room . told us great place to eat. Had a smile on his face every time we spoke and knew our names..

All of the staff members that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean when we arrived and there were plenty of fresh towels. The room was in need of some repair. The carpet was threadbare by the door and the dresser looked like it had been dropped down a flight of stairs. These were minor items and my only real complaint was the water pressure. In order to get a shower, you had to squeeze up directly under the shower head. I talked to several other people who stayed on the first floor and they said they had no problems. Next time I will make my reservation early enough so that I can get a first floor room. All in all, it is a nice little motel and well worth the money that they charge.

Well, where do I begin? How about I just list it from good to bad; but before I begin, be sure to bring your own towels.||||GOOD:||--The staff was friendly||--There was plenty of parking available||--The hotel has certainly done some upgrades in the past year and with quite a few more, they can eventually gain a 5 out of a one to 10||--Very convenient for a quick nap||||BAD:||--Room service certainly needs improvement; the staff did not take the time to do any cleaning here during our last visit; We had to speak to the front desk several times in reference to the carpet being dirty and no clean towels being brought in; and don't expect your sinks to be cleaned either||--The staff while nice, is very lackadaisical in cleaning. Most of them reside in the hotel and don't even get started cleaning until the afternoon.||--The first time we visited, there was a dead roach on the bathroom floor and no one from the staff bothered to clean it up. ||--Sheets were not all that clean and they were extremely thin; bring your own blanket.||--The exterior certainly needs some work.||--There is no room phone, so heaven forbid you have bad cell reception!||--There are no smoke detectors in the room, so you need to sleep with one eye open just in case there is a fire. ||--The hot water takes a while to heat up, so be sure to start it early

My family and I stayed at this location recently, and it was a bit different than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our reservation was for two queens, but our room had two full sized beds. There was an ice bucket in the room, but the motel has no ice machine. The room itself is very outdated. The only recent update was the TV. There was chewed gum on the headboard, garbage in the room from a previous guest, the bathroom floor and shower curtain was dirty, and the walls and carpeting need a thorough cleaning. The door lock was rigged to work, but it wouldn't be too challenging to break into a room. No morning coffee or breakfast is offered, but for the price, we wouldn't be expecting too much, other than a clean room with comfortable bedding. The location is convenient to Fort Benning, Columbus and Plains, all within 30 minutes or so.

I've been going to this hotel for the past couple years, and I've notice some great changes. For one they don't have roaches. I staid there with my husband and kids when I went to see my sister this past week, and I had a great time. Hotel for the price was good. Nice clean rooms, and friendly staff. No complaints, will be staying at this hotel again in the future. I wish the pool was open.

The only thing nice about this place was Walter, the main guy. We came later at night. Maybe around 10:00. First thought was they still use keys, not card to open door. People outside cooking right in front of there rooms. Disgusting old terrible place. I no sooner got my pajamas on and my husband said “we’re leaving” Thank God! We didn’t even ask for our money back. Couldn’t get out of there soon enough. I did not feel safe at all! You could see light through the door entrance. Quite an experience. One I will never have again because I will ask to see room first.

I stayed for 6 nights and the maid came the 5th night to change the sheets. There were bugs in the room and when I informed the manager his response was, " well, you're in the country!" This was my first and last time booking there. This was November of 2014. Need better staff. The manager was nice(regardless of his snarky response) but the service and cleanliness was the worse ever!
