The dinner experience started off really strong. The appetizers were a hit. We tried the crab cakes and the cheese saganaki.

The crab cakes were absolutely delicious. We loved how moist, seasoned, piping hot, and true to crab they were. The remolaude sauce served with them was perfect, tangy, and tart with just a hint of sweetness.

The cheese saganaki was a really fun experience. They brought out a crispy melty cheese slab, poured brandy on it, had us yell ā€œopa!ā€, lit it on fire, then squeezed a fresh lemon over it. We did have to pick out the seeds though lol. Served with warm pita bread and having a very rounded oaky, lemony cheese flavor, made it very delicious overall.

My wife had a Caesar salad and she said it was pretty good. I had the Greek salad, which was all right. I remember having to pick out a big butt of lettuce stock. The house dressing
they gave me with the Greek salad was a little weird, as I was really hoping for a Greek vinaigrette. The house dressing was kind of like an 1000 island, and the sweetness made the Greek salad way less authentic.

When we were given our entrƩes, it went from a great dinner to a very mediocre dinner.

I had the chicken parmesan. I always get that at a place that claims they have Italian food because a great chicken parmesan is (in my opinion) a staple of any Italian restaurant.

My spaghetti was cooked perfectly, but the sauce was not fresh and did not taste very good; it was watery and a little bland. The chicken was interesting because it wasn’t breaded, but it was very well seasoned. In addition they did not put enough cheese on top to make it a true chicken parmesan. The sauce definitely killed the experience because a freshly made and great tasting sauce is fundamental to any pasta dish. But with the appetizers being so great, I still thought that my dinner experience was pretty good…until I tried my wife’s entrĆ©e.

My wife could only eat a couple bites of her salmon piccata. She let me know she could not eat anymore or she was going to feel sick. We could kind of tell something was off because the sauce looked slimy, and when I tried it, it was gross. The flavor was alright, but the huge disappointment was how slimy and goopy the texture of the sauce was. You could taste the preservatives in it. It was obvious that it was frozen, then heated up, and poured over the dish. A dish like piccata should always have a fresh sauce; it’s not even that hard to make.

We did not try any desserts, and we don’t think we will be back unless we know that they are making fresh sauces in the kitchen from now on.

Service was great, and atmosphere was great as well! We hope this review will help this restaurant get back to its roots, because it has such great potential.

Great Italian restaurant located in Downtown Hiram. Gluten Free options are available upon request as they use gluten free pasta and prepare food in a kitchen setup to avoid cross contamination.

Service was stellar, food was delicious with large portion sizes, and I left completely satisfied with my meal.

Make this hidden gem a stop on your next night out.

I come here several times a year with my work and it’s always been stellar service. However, this time they missed the mark…big time. We arrived at 11:30AM for our reservation. We sat there for at least 20-30 minutes before someone even took our drink order. We saw our waiter helping other tables nearby, they just never came to check on us. We also ordered an appetizer, which arrived around the 45 minute mark. Except we ordered the flaming cheese, and when it first came out it didn’t light properly. Which at that point we were all starving so we didn’t care and were gonna eat it anyways. It didn’t matter- the server, embarrassed by the cheese not lighting, swiftly took it away and back into the kitchen…where we didn’t see it for another 20 minutes. So finally around the one hour mark we got our drinks and appetizer….yet had still not even been able to place our order for entrees. Half of my party had to leave due to work obligations and had to order their food to-go. The other half, my half of the party, stayed and ordered. It took another 30 minutes for the food to come out, which we quickly ate so we could get back to the office. I’m not sure if we had a new waiter or what, but the service was awful. And when the food came out, it wasn’t correct either. Several of us ordered the grilled salmon and one person ordered the lemon pepper salmon. The people who ordered grilled salmon got lemon pepper and I’m not sure what the lemon pepper guy got, but it wasn’t lemon pepper salmon. In total I think we were at the restaurant for around 2 hours but it wasn’t until the hour mark that we even got to order our entrees and we had just received our appetizer.

Great service. The food was prompt. The salad was good. The bread seemed stale even though it smelled as if it was baking fresh. The veal on the veal Parm was extremely tough we couldn't cut it with the provided knife and it was bland. The spicy seafood was decent but not great.

Well, well, well, there may be a good Greek/Italian inspired restaurant located in Hiram, Ga. I was super surprised to see a local eatery that was a little less Americanized than your typical chain food restaurant. The food is good and every dish was served hot. Servers and hosts are super amicable, knowledgeable and totally chill. Guest traffic was light at the time I went but there is plenty of seating for parties of 1 or 10. I advise parties larger than 4 to call ahead so you can secure seating together. Pricing is comparable to other small or family-run restaurants in larger cities. Atmosphere is a cross of faux Southern European w/US influence. Good place for dinner date nights or afternoon lunches with family and friends. Free parking is available around the storefront. Also, they do have a selection of wines and adult beverages to choose from.

When traveling through smaller towns we enjoy dining at a local spot instead of a chain restaurant. This one didn’t disappoint.

I’m glad we opted to dine early dinner as the place started to fill up by the end of our meal.
The staff was friendly greeting and seating us.

We had the trio, salmon piccata and Alfredo. Also tried the sangria and it was pleasant. The he food was great.
The greens in the salad could have been a bit fresher and more abundant as they were a bit wilted. The house dressing was great and made up for it with flavor.

Opted for a special dessert and it did not disappoint.
The prices were on par with the quality and experience. Would definitely eat here again.

I’m not the one to make reviews but I’ve been getting dessert here for the last 5 years my go to is the limoncello cake, I did also purchase the baklava to try. I noticed on the online menu that it no longer said limoncello but decided to order anyway , they have completely changed it , after picking up my order I called to ask if they still had the limoncello cake and they said yes but it’s called a lemon cream cake now . It does not taste the same at all it’s more sweet . The baklava was very hard. Unfortunately I threw them both away . I spent around $47 for 3 each and it went to waste .
Ive attached pictures of their other cake vs their new one . The one with the whipped cream is their other limoncello cake vs the new one . I would really like to know who made their previous cake so I can order it !

I saw reviews stating there's a smoke problem due to the adjoining Cigar shop, but that shop was closed during my visit and I didn't have this problem. I had no issues with service during my visit, even if I typically try not to factor one off staff problems into a review anyway.

The food was overall a real treat. This was a great surprise considering how fairly priced everything was in this crazy economy. If anything fell below expectations I'd say the complimentary garlic rolls look and smell great, but did taste a bit stale. Beyond that minor detail, no complaints from the table! Everything was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, sauces were fresh tasting. A real standout was the pizza. Everyone at my table commented this was the best pizza outside of an actual pizza parlor they'd had recently.
