After much prayer and trying to find a long term facility for my sister in law. We deceived to go with The Resort’s of Pooler after looking them up on google and seeing the reviews was not what we wanted, but everyone have an opinion ( good or bad). I can say that once we got there things was way better than the reviews. You just can’t put your family member in a facility and don’t visit them make sure you visit and learn and get to know the staff.

I can personal say the staff were incredibly very attentive and kind. We are grateful for everything they have done and doing for our loved one. Thank you to the nurses, aides, social worker, therapy staff and nutrition staff. Thank you to a few and can name them all or remember their name: Melissa DON, Asst. DON, Trina, Ms. Quincy, Karen, Shannon, Alicia, Renee, Angle, Wendy and all the staff on A and B Halls. I want to especially thank my sister in law housemate.

Again to The Resorts at Pooler Staff THANK YOU for all you are do for all the residents their.

This facility is far from a Resort. The staff sent my mother out to dialysis with a night gown and sweater on . This particular Tuesday was one of the coldest because it snowed on this day. My mother fell out of bed 2:05 am and I was not notified until 11:38 am. Two days my mother was sent to the emergency room for dialysis because staff could not get transportation scheduled properly . Administrators do not care about our love ones. My mother was in the hospital and management did not call me once to check on her. The facility is horrible . If I had the authority it would be SHUT DOWN. I have to give one star to post , but really it’s zero.

This facility is constantly dirty with some of the most unprofessional employees I’ve encountered in any healthcare setting. There were a handful of friendly staff members here, but the majority avoid eye contact, are unresponsive, have no follow through and appear to just be earning a paycheck. When addressing issues, we often found combative and argumentative behavior from the staff. I would absolutely recommend another facility to provide your loved one care.

social worker is very unprofessional! Someone who works in the facility decided to help themselves to my family members wallet and spent 6,000 on his bank cards . The facility does not care and told me to "do what I needed to do"!
reports have been made! After his death they helped themselves again with his personal property.

My family is very pleased with the care that our loved one is receiving. The staff is amazing, attentive, and very caring. Thank you to the DON for answering all of our questions and being very professional and helpful. We recommend their services!

The level of unprofessionalism exhibited by the administrative and clinical staff at the Resorts at Pooler is concerning. I would advise against sending your loved ones there, as it could lead to unfortunate experiences for both them and yourself. If I could rate this place zero stars, I would.

Giving Thanks to Dr. Ramona in addition to the staff and nurses that took care of my mom, additionally provided the family space. Dr. Ramona mentioned/ suggested her doubts of what the facility was; wasn’t capable of providing was clear. Resorts At Pooler was caring to the end. Provided our family the space and care needed for our mother also, the grieving space as well. Ms. Jordan’s family cannot thank you enough for assisting us in removing her from an unsafe environment which ended in her passing. Every word of expertise and action was very profound. Thank for the right hospice care (Amedisys) their staff as well. If you’re looking for cleanliness, great food, experience in the care of your love one, shared experiences and open ear as well as honesty, Resorts at Pooler is it. Under New Management. I just wished I could’ve gotten her there a little sooner…. Ms Jordan’s family sincerely appreciate and Thank You Dr. Ramona, nurses and staff❣️❣️❣️

They NEVER answer the phone. Or if they do they transfer you to Antoinette’s line that goes straight to voicemail ALL THE TIME. I pray for their residents and the kind of care they receive there.
