Our waitress made the experience at Corner Cafe a very pleasant experience. The trout that I had was awesome and you got two very large pieces fried to perfection. The eggplant that my wife had, she rated a 9 out of 10. Our waitress was Megan and she was awesome…a 10 out of 10.

Wow! Great prices, wonderful and friendly staff and huge portions! I don't know how they do it but they do do it (lol) and do it well. Tonight's choice was a full rack of ribs, fries, a salad and Cole slaw. All for the amazing price of $16.50!!
I've been in town for two nights and eaten at both Corner Cafe's. What a deal!

Excellent dinner plate. The creamy chicken soup was awesome. Not to mention the fall off the bone pork ribs. The place was neat and clean, and the service was very friendly, and they checked by often with drink refills and anything else if needed. Great job. Would definitely visit there again.

Our waiter was the best part of the experience. I had the Chicken Marsala over pasta. I was turned off by the chicken. It was coated in breading that when the sauce was applied, it was a slimy texture. I ate what I could make myself eat since I was paying for it. Also, I had the soup. Not sure what kind of soup it was but, it was loaded with chicken. That should have been a plus except it was so salty I couldn't eat it. Have eaten here before and it was great although, that was several years back and I believe owners changed, or something changed. I would give it a try again if I were with someone else that wanted to go there otherwise, probably not. My sister had a better experience. She had a salad and the Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. She enjoyed her meal.

GOOD SERVICE AND HOT FOOD

Overall, the price for not having to cook these dishes is worth the purchase. I spent a total of $48 for everything not including tip.

The food on the other hand is just OK. It isn’t something that I would brag about or crave. If you took the time to learn how to cook these dishes, your cooking might be even better.

The Appetizer Combo is a good idea. You get a little bit of Onion Rings, Mozzarella Cheesticks, and man that Jalapeño Poppers is so good.

The Philly Cheesesteak is good; not the best I’ve had but it’s good enough. The fries are so bland and soggy.

Fajita Chicken Nachos are bland and it just isn’t hitting the spot. It’s just OK.

The Cornbeef Reuben Sandwich is just OK. The fries again are so trash. I feel like the fries are so simple to make I don’t understand why it’s not crispy and well seasoned.

The Southwest Chicken Rolls are delicious and I will definitely order it again.

This restaurant has a good rating and I wanted to share my own experience and my opinion. When I entered the restaurant, it was nearly packed and the service is excellent. They serve hot food and their desert looks delicious. I will definitely come back to try them.

A good, local, old-school, no frills but reminds you of home cooking cafe that’s worth its weight in gold; The Corner Cafe in Griffin, Ga is that type of place. I had oatmeal. Don’t laugh. Everyone can’t cook oatmeal well. It was delicious served with a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar. I used honey instead. Also, the prices are reasonable; as breakfast should be. If you’re looking for a real breakfast spot where the locals eat at, then this is a new spot for you. Enjoy! Update… Since my first visit I’ve been a couple more times. Lunch is also great! The imitation crab sandwich was good, but the egg salad was my favorite. The menu has variety and they seem to have a round robin of daily specials. Again, enjoy; I know I did.🙂

Went here today for lunch at 12pm. There was not a long wait, especially considering it was on a weekend. I ordered the country fried steak with the garlic mashed potatoes. It was really good. The food was hot and it came with either a soup or salad. Quick and fast service/ reasonable price. If you are in the Griffin, GA area... definitely give them a try.
