This is my first time coming here for tacos and draft beer. The reception when I entered, the place was very inviting. I was easily able to find the menu items that I want. The staff was very friendly, and my order came out in about 10 minutes. The taco was super tasty and the draft beer was nice cold and crisp with good body and flavor. I would recommend that you try this please.

This is regarding a takeout order.

I’m not from GA but happened to pass thru Zebulon and needed to find a quick spot to grab a bite. Upon scanning the food row in Zebulon, Oink Joint immediately caught my eye.

Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately greeted warmly by the 2 ladies by the register and was immediately helped. Service was warm and not pushy

Ribs seem to be their Friday and Saturday specialty exclusive item, and could not pass up on the opportunity to give it a shot. And I’m glad I did. Ended up ordering a half rack and it came with 2 sides. Went with the classic - Mac n cheese/ Baked beans duo and a large sweet tea to wash it down. All the food were executed perfectly. The service was top notch, they even offered extra sauce to go with the meal — and best of all orders were made super quick without having to wait long.

Street parking seemed ample and posed no difficulty.

Will make it back if I ever roll thru this neighborhood in the future, keep up the great work Oink Joint.

There’s a good reason this is award-winning BBQ! The food is fresh and always so tasty. My favorites are the pork plate and the Cadillac sandwich. The sides are all good, fries and slaw are my favorites. The staff is friendly, service is awesome and the food is just always top-notch. I won’t eat BBQ anywhere else!

Very clean restaurant. Nice staff. Everything was fresh. The meat was moist. Sauces are great and seem to be homemade. The sides were fresh. The banana pudding was delicious.

The BBQ here is middle of the road: Good, but not great. Still, I liked coming here to support local BBQ. However, they had a fire a while back, and although they've been reopened a good long time, they haven't redecorated the place at all. Nothing but bare white walls. Looks like an art gallery, but without the art. While I am no fan of the "throw every piece of junk you can find on the wall" aesthetic of 90% of other BBQ joints, the fact that the owners haven't bothered to make the place look more appealing tells me they don't care too much about this location. And if they don't care, why should I?

Update 4/2023 we went again and it was not good there was three in our party and no one thought it was great.

Oink Joint is back open after the fire …. It looks different and the Mac and Cheese was different but the barbecue tots and the barbecue chicken was on point. We had Brunswick stew also very tasty. They have gluten free options!

I was sad to see the historic parts of the building have been white washed and no decor to speak of. Maybe they are still figuring it out

Hate to write this, but the food here is poor. Been there many times. Before the fire and owner change (I think it changed?) the food was great, and always busy. In the last year or so, it has really deteriorated. Had ribs there Friday. The ribs were old - must have been left over from the last weekend? Way over cooked, dry, and had about 1/8 inch of rub on 'em. The mac and cheese was mush, no flavor and looked like they came out of a blender... the "collards" were not collards but some other green.. I won't be going back... and I hate to say that. The staff is very friendly. PS when I was there 6:00pm Friday I was the only person there... I'm wondering if their business is way off 'cause of poor food?

My only complaint is how small the tacos are. Tater tots in photo give you an idea of how there was barely any meat; more coleslaw than anything. I went up to ask if this was normal and was told yes, they weigh everything out. Unless you want to drop $20 on 5 tacos to feel satisfied, choose another food option.
