I was here about 3 years ago and food was really good. Not the same now. I ordered Ribeye (medium) with grilled vegetables. The steak came out and was overcooked and like chewing jerky, very tough. The vegetables were undercooked and burnt from the grill. I asked for my check 2 minutes after food was delivered and the server asked if I wanted a to-go box. Um, NO. But not once did she ask me if there was anything wrong. So basically, I wasted $40. I won't be back.

Nice little spot downtown Woodbury combined Mexican restaurant with Café. Brick and masonry walls and unique decorations make it a pleasant ambience. I got vegetarian vegan fajitas not on the menu, but it includes California blend veggies with mushrooms, onions and peppers. I got corn tortillas and they even did extra guacamole no sour cream. Also, she set me up with black beans instead of refried beans. Really nice experience.

Today I took my 1 year old daughter up to black bird for lunch we had went to see my brother/her uncle who’s a server. It started out amazing per usual because he always makes it a good experience but then it went south when the manager was verbally rude to him. Ethan was my server, he's fantastic! The Mexican restaurant is connected to blackbird Cafe, so everyone has choices. We had a little of everything. The chunky fried tomatoes are a must try. The hot wings are the perfect size, not huge but not tiny. I had mild, and I could feel a little heat. My son had grilled tenders and he said they were fantastic. My husband loved his street tacos.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was mediocre. My husband had a cheeseburger with onion rings and said the burger was nothing special and the onion rings were greasy. I had the wings and fries. The fries were great and the wings had a good flavor, though small. The food was overpriced and everything is A-La-Carte, so you spend more than usual for the same meals elsewhere.

We waited for about 45 minutes to get our food. Flies were everywhere at the booth we sat at. This cafe is connected with a Mexican grill. They gave us 20% off, because the wait time was so long. Even with that, the sprite I got tasted like pond water, and the food wasn't even hot. The waitress was nice.

We detoured to have lunch at this hidden gem, and it was worth it. The food was delicious! The service was fast and friendly, and the comfortable, farmhouse-style appeal was inviting. Highly recommend The Angry Blackbird sandwich and fried green tomato bites!

First time here. I've always heard about this place but never been. My mom treated us to dinner and I had the chicken tenders. Everything tasted so good. Plus, Mary our server, was great. We DID have dessert.. The chocolate cake and the brownie was great. We will be back. 😊. P.S. The decor was great too.
