Very conveniently located. But the customer service is absolutely terrible. I will say when I spoke to an actual human, it was great, but it took me an hour and a half to get to the front desk because the length of the line when checking in. Half of the kiosks didn’t have wristbands so I had to wait in line forever and my husband and children had to wait in the car… It’s not easy when your kids are excited about new experience and you tell them they have to wait in the car for over an hour. Oh, we didn’t get our room until 2 1/2 hours after we were supposed to. Two hours and 38 minutes to be exact. They told me to message with the willow app. I did that and Willow agreed to give me a $75 credit per day after I told them that I would not accept a late check out the next day because we had to leave early. However, when I went to the front desk early on the morning of checkout…They would only give me $75 credit total. Not $150 as they should have according to the texts with “willow” I produced. Kids have a great time but be prepared to spend a lot of money and great deal of your brain cells and vacation time to with Customer Service…The room was clean enough, but you do not want to eat there unless you are prepared to pay double the price of a normal pizza or triple the price of a normal drink. DoorDash if you can. And advocate for yourself at all times.

First things first... This is a resort. Of course, they will try to nickel and dime you at every turn. You can easily just not buy all the extras if you want to stay in budget. That's totally up to you, and I wouldn't fault the business for that. Just say no.

We arrived at 3pm on our check in day and Jennifer at guest services had a room that was ready, so we were able to put our things in the room and then go to the water park. We were prepared to go straight to the water park though, just in case. But this made things easier for sure.

The prices for the added attractions are actually pretty reasonable. Mini golf is like $7.99pp and the ropes course was $14.99pp. The Magiquest and Build a Bear get pricey really quickly, so we avoided them.

We stayed at the water park from 3-7pm the guest day, showered then drove into town and had dinner at Brickhouse Grill, which was really good. Highly recommend.

Since we only stayed one night, we got Dunkin for breakfast, located on the first floor, ate in the room, then checked out at 11am. We put everything in the car and then enjoyed the water park all day until 3pm.

We showered and changed in the clean locker rooms before loading up in the car and heading to Alabama.

Considering the two days of water park we enjoyed, plus the hotel stay (queen w/ bunk beds), we thought the price was well worth it. This location doesn't have quite as many slides as some others we've been to, but there's still plenty to do and the lines were never more than 5 minutes, so that's awesome.

All of the lifeguards took their job seriously and weren't playing around like you see at some other places. That was good to see, because there is alot going on.

You can easily go crazy and spend loads of money for sure. But, if you resist the urge, you can have a very budget friendly getaway. Everyone gets free wolf ear headbands too!

We needed somewhere close to Birmingham Al for a quick, fun trip dieing Spring Break. I found out about this place online and decided it would work but was apprehensive since I'd never been. I was completely amazed from the moment we entered! The exterior is beautifully maintained and everything from parking, to luggage carts to check in was seamless and well planned. The room was very spacious and the entire place was so clean!! That was such a surprise given the number of guests this week but it was clean and tidy or entire stay. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and surprisingly joyful! And while all of the employees we interacted with were great, there were three employees that really stood out for their positive attitude and the outstanding help provided. Michael Miller at the Magi shop, Emily R in attractions arcade and Ms Carla at the Waterpark! Thank you to the entire "wolfpack" fire making this a great stay and we will be back with all of our grandchildren!!

We recently visited this establishment during spring break and were pleased with the parking and lobby cleanliness. However, upon arrival after 8:00, we discovered the pool was closed, which seemed unusually early. Furthermore, the arcade was a letdown, with games priced at $3 to $4 per play, and the requirement to purchase a card, resulting in a $44 expenditure on card fees alone. The arcade staff also retained the card after we redeemed our tickets. On a positive note, the children enjoyed the zip line course, which, although not a true zip line experience, provided a fun obstacle course. Other amenities included mini golf, bowling, and additional activities. While the rooms were satisfactory, they did not justify the cost. The facility offered numerous dining options, making it unnecessary to leave the premises. It is worth noting that this is a cashless establishment, with kiosks available for cash exchange or credit loading. A parking fee of $15 per day is also applicable, with an initial charge of $200 or more for incidentals, which can be used with the provided wristband, serving as both room key and payment method. While this concept is convenient, will we return? Probably not.

The lodge itself is beautiful, the service greeted everyone that serviced my family and I did it with a smile. The room itself had three bunks that fit all three children perfectly however we brought food and found there was no microwave and the children were hungry after the trip . We called downstairs and requested a microwave and it was sent right up. The downside was the parks closed at 8 pm and the lobby closed activities at 930 during spring break on a Friday night . Other than that it's a water park in 80 degree weather. We still had a blast.

Rooms were clean although shower had some mold. The beds were hard and old but with mattress topper.
The water park it self was loud ,noisy and way over crowded that made it impossible to enjoy with your family. Kids are unsupervised and running everywhere , alot of horse playing,teenagers using profanity in front of small kids. Staff is all teenagers at the water park. If You have a special needs kid with sensory issues this is not the place for you.
Food is not that great and way over priced.

You pay 30 $ for parking on top of your hotel fee’s.
We were told several times by staff the scanner at water park wasn’t working yet was still charged 60.00 for towels that were turned in.
Charged twice for the food we had for lunch.
Several other double charges or extra charges.
Moral of the story this was my first and last visit ever to great wolf lodge .
I would have came out cheaper going on vacation for 5 days at the beach instead of a two night stay at great wolf.
So disappointed!

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at Great Wolf Lodge Water park. You can get 2 days in at the water park for the price of 1 night as you can go to the park before your roll is ready and then go the day you check out. We didn't do any of the other activities besides the water park so can't speak to the Magic Quest (though many kids/families were doing that), build a bear, mini golf or ropes course. Our 6 year old grandson loves the water so that is where we spent our time. It was clean though the wait for food was long. Finding chairs was a bit of a hunt the first day since we didn't get into the park until after 11 and people save tables and chairs. We didn't use lockers but they are available. Plenty of life guards and the lines for the raft rides moved pretty quickly. We were there Monday-Tuesday so can't speak to crowds on the weekend. We got a good deal on the room but be prepared for the parking and resort fee to be added. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and plenty of space to move around so no complaints about the room.

First time trip to Great Wolf Lodge. The Kid Cabin Suite was a perfect size for a family of 6. Everything was clean. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. We arrived for check in after hours and we were given an extra hour for check out so we wouldn't have to rush in the morning. We purchased the Birthday Bash package for our son and it was definitely worth it! The pizza was delicious, cake was adorable, and the decorations were perfect! The water park was clean, lifeguards everywhere that were extremely attentive, and the bathroom/showers were clean as well. There is so much to do at one location it would take at least 3 days to truly explore. They offer great packages that make it easy for family on a budget to enjoy the park. We have already started planning on going back for a longer stay!
