We’ve been seeing posts for this place on Facebook. Thought we would give it a try dining room is a bit small, but cozy. Service was a bit slow, but nothing to complain about. I ordered chicken and shrimp gumbo. I thought it was very good. Could have easily eaten another bowl. My wife had a burger, and seemed to enjoy it. I was a bit surprised at the french fries. Thought they would make their own, considering the prices here. The prices seem to be just a bit high for the food, especially in this area. Still it was an enjoyable meal. Plenty of parking!

Great food! Cheesesteak was great with hot peppers and warm melted cheese.

Gizzards were fried perfectly! Shrimp and grits were seasoned very well.

Artichoke dip had that great crawfish flavor.

Lastly, lemon pepper wings were ON POINT - juicy, spicy, lemony - meat was pull off the bone.

This our favorite place to eat. The food is amazing! The catfish is the best I have ever eaten. It is so flavorful and delicious. Their burgers are not only amazing, they are huge. Be sure you are hungry when you go and save room for the peach cobbler! I thought my Grandma was in the kitchen cooking! The staff always wants to make sure everything is to your liking and are super friendly. It is definitely our happy place!

The food here is absolutely amazing! I dang near cried when I took my first bite of collard greens! The mac and cheese was super cheesy, and the cat fish was the best I've ever had in my life. I don't like tartar sauce, and I even enjoyed theirs. The owner greeted every table and it felt like you were in her home for a family dinner. The vibe was so laid back and comforting. Prices were incredible, especially considering the portion size. My boyfriend had the gumbo, and he said it was the best he's found yet. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.. It will definitely be our default date night location!

If you haven't tried this place, RUN don't walk!!! Some of the best food we have had in awhile! Highly recommend! P.S. ......pineapple upside down cake was the bomb!! We look forward to coming back here again. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, & fantastic food!!!

We stumbled upon Love & Soulfood today and had a fabulous meal. My shrimp and grits was off the chain delicious and the hubby's catfish dinner was fantastic with the best damn collard greens EVER. Our server was utterly charming and attentive, the ambiance was relaxed, and the prices were great. We will 100% be back!

AMAZING FOOD!! This was our first visit and we can't wait to go back. Everything was fresh and delicious. Lots of spice which we love. My husband said it was the best Philly cheese steak he's had in a long time
It was HUGE! The spinach and artichoke dip was fabulous. I had the chicken and shrimp gumbo which I absolutely loved. We met the owners and they were super nice! We are definitely going to be regulars here!

What I had was good, but the portions are small and price high. I got the shrimp and grits and liked the pepper gravy, so I ordered just the grits bowl next time. They charged $10 for a cereal-size bowl of grits which I thought was high, but I enjoyed it. The very next week, they wanted $12 for the exact same bowl. I am not paying that much for a cereal-size bowl of grits - and an increase of $2 in a week. Lost a customer. I was going to try more.
