We have been to The Old Mulehouse a few times. Food is American cuisine with a focus on pasta, steaks, fish, and burgers. The service is one of their challenges. It seems to take a bit too long to place orders and get the food out. The food is well seasoned, and some of the food items were not at the best temperature. The staff is helpful and takes care of the issues. The sides are tasty. I personally enjoy the grits and also mashed potatoes.

We had an amazingly joyful trip here while on a getaway.. both Ryan (sp?) and Hannah were absolute gems who made the night great. The food was super good, the venue retro chic. The menu offers vegan and vegetarian options too. The brown butter cake was a perfect closer. Thank you Ryan...you "BB" 😉

First time here and probably the last. Wanted to check it out before bringing out of town guests. First off my husband's steak was good, mashed potatoes..ok..but had to ask him what the vegetable was and he didn't know. Unidentifiable. My plate came which was the pecan crusted fish and I substituted the potatoes for the Alfredo pasta. My vegetable came much later which was what my husband had on his plate, shredded over burnt roasted Brussel sprouts. I took a bite and asked her to remove it. Offered to replace with a salad, I refused as I was almost done with my meal. Now the fish is very thin and cooked to 'crispy', however ..I ate it. The Alfredo was a big mistake...corkscrew pasta with very little sauce...pretty tasteless. Oh! And it was cold..had to get that warmed up. The manager came and said she tasted the returned vegetable and agreed it was not good. The old fashions were spot on though! They took 50% off our food bill...thank you..and gave us free app cards which we probably won't use. Our waitress was sweet so she got the full tip of what the bill would have been.

We were driving through the area and stopped for dinner - what a FABULOUS place! The atmosphere and the charming rustic-chic interior were lovely. Our waitress, Ava, was absolutely outstanding and made our experience the perfect beginning of our Georgia trip. All three of our meals - the shrimp and grits, beef bourguignon and the southern style brisket Ruben, were all delicious!!
If you're in the area - look no further. Thank you, Ava for being the best!!

This place was a fantastic choice for an upscale rehearsal dinner. Very beautiful private back room for the space, helpful and kind staff. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for any special event or evening out. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of the details and golf but trust me it was amazing!

Limited vegan options in the area. I had the veggie wrap with fries. I asked and the hummus doesn't have yogurt in it. Sometimes places do that. The people with me enjoyed the black bean burger no cheese. Service was great.

My fiance and I ate here for the first time and heard good things about it but ended up leaving very disappointed. Our server was great but the food was not the best and the dessert was not good as well.

We started off with the big pretzel as an appetizer and it wasn’t bad. The pretzel was soft and the cheese dip it came with was pretty tasty.

For our main course I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger and my fiance got the 12oz NY strip.

The burger I got was dry and over cooked, the bacon jam that came in the sandwich was pretty tasty and the onions were ok on it. The fries were good.
My fiancés steak was cooked to her liking but they definitely served her what seemed to be a select grade piece of meat. It was not tender, had alot of fat and took forever to chew. We were very disappointed with this and they were generous enough to take some money off our bill. The mashed potatoes were ok.

Our dessert we got was a creme brule and that really was not good. The sugar topping was burnt and the custard was not set properly and it was runny.

We will not be back here but others may have different experiences and unfortunately ours was not great. I personally do not recommend eating here.

We ate here 3 days of our vacation. The food was outstanding! Service was great. We ate both dinner and brunch during our stay, and both were equally great.
