I came in at 12:20 pm and bought a 8.99 bag of fried chicken. I live 20 miles one way and could not afford the gas to return it It had to of been cooked yesterday based on how hard it was!! I couldn't even eat it and fed it to my dogs!! PLEASE ASK ATTENDANT WHEN IT WAS COOKED!!! UPDATE: I watched the lady in the back add already cooked chicken to the fresh chicken just cooked!!! I guess that's a easier way to pawn off yesterday's cold chicken!!!

Where are all the front end managers You have kids working the front end with the lines at the register and where are the managers to assist? I know other food lions have at least two front end managers assisting the cashiers when the lines are long, (more than two people per line) Especially if it's after 6pm in a small town.

They closed and the hurricane isn't coming though here. I work off of the savannah river and we are still working. It's ridiculous I couldn't get just 1lb of ground beef for food. Watching all the employees walk out with baskets full of groceries and I can't get 1lb of ground beef.

Prices are too high. Can't afford to shop here on my low income. Walmart has lower prices to fit my budget. Even though Food Lion is only 8 miles from me & Walmart is 19 miles. It's still cheaper to buy my groceries at Wal-Mart.

Clean, well stocked store. Few of the employees are unfriendly, almost hostile. If I was that unhappy at my job I would find something else to do!

Great store. Friendly employees.
They remodeled recently and the deals are usually pretty good. Download the app for coupons and more deals. I think you can put a shopping list in it but that's not what I use it for. The app even shows you how much you saved
