We loved our experience! Food, service and ambience were all great. Laura was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive! Food and drinks were delicious, highly recommend the Mini Poke Tacos, Pacific Rim taco and the Guava Cooler cocktail.

I was visiting Gainesville from Houston, Texas, and this was my first visit to Taqueria Tsunami. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will say that while waiting for a table, a fellow patron advised that I order the pear sangria, and I am happy that I didn't listen to her suggestion. Instead, I ordered the sangria flight, and I enjoyed the watermelon rosé sangria the most. The pear was my least favorite. I ordered the beef nachos and enjoyed them. I will say that the nachos were lacking a sauce or something, so I drizzled the chipotle ranch over them. This helped the dish a lot. Now I don't have the menu memorized, and my visit was 2 days ago so the items may not be specific proper name on the menu, but you get the gist. Worth the visit, no complaints.

Food, service, and drinks were amazing! Whenever we drive through Georgia we always and I say always make it a point to stop at one of Taqueria Tsunami's locations. A restaurant that brings a blend between cilantro and soy sauce that I didn't know I needed.

This place is amazing very clean, outdoor seating. Service was amazing and friendly and she brought our food in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place the food was fresh. We had the BBQ empanadas, fried Yuca, 2 shrimp tacos,1 zing taco and 2 beers everything came to be about $40 very reasonable prices.

Pleasantly surprised! The fusion of cuisines actually worked.
Everything was good! The Kogi BBQ short rib Empanada was REAL.
Real good, could def have that as a main dish.

If you have allergies, do not go to this place as they do not take you seriously!! I am celiac and that was the first thing I asked when I entered this restaurant if they had gluten-free options, the lady said YES we do!! I received the GF menu and asked many times and specifically said that I was very allergic and would be very sick if I eat anything with gluten, I said that repeatedly to the waiter who did not take this seriously nor did the entire team at that restaurant. I trusted the plate was safe for me to eat. Only after I consume the food, the waiter came to tell me that there was soy sauce that contained gluten in the food I was eating!!! That really upset me . They still made us paid for the meals at the table not mine but still charged for the drinks, even though we had to go immediately as I would throw up for many hours within the next two hours from eating gluten … The problem is that I AM paying the price of being sick for weeks if not months. Please be very cautious if you have a strong allergy. People with diet are lucky to have these options while people with diseases don’t.

Great service, good food. Margaritas and mixed drinks have the bare minimum of alcohol in them. When you pay a premium, you expect a good drink. Not the case here. Probably won't be back.

Had a great experience at Taquiera Tsunami! The tacos were amazing. We also got the Calamari which was had this amazing dipping sauce! I think I have it in the pics but one friend got a Tuna bowl and said he liked it a lot as well. Our waitress was supper friendly and attentive. It was her 21st birthday so we wished her a Happy Birthday. Atmosphere is very open and clean. I will be back for sure!
