This is such a chill place with fantastic food and service! We tried it out of curiosity today and will definitely come back! I'm pescatarian/vegetarian and had plenty of options to choose from on the menu. Portion sizes were generous, and the food quality was excellent!

Love this place! They have some
Old South type things like Coca Cola in a glass bottle served with peanuts. I’ve had people older than me tell me that was their favors thing back in the 50s and 60s. Not only do that have a great bar upstairs and great food, but they have a Tap Room in the basement (see pics) that has tons of different types of beers to choose from! If you haven’t been here for a lunch or a night out with friends, you should make the trip!

I had an awesome experience at Standard Service in Gainesville! I ordered The Standard burger, and it was absolutely amazing — cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Corey provided excellent service, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Jeremy, the manager, also made sure everything was going smoothly, which really added to the overall experience. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in a while — highly recommend!

Incredible experience. We reserved the tap room downstairs for brunch, and the experience was just awesome. The server was friendly and able to serve all 12 of us by herself. The taps on the walls are super cool and have a variety of IPAs, lagers, ciders, even CBD infused drinks. Got chicken and waffles and a burger and both of them were perfect. This place wowed me.

Great drinks & food was beyond expectations! We had the deviled eggs, bang bang shrimp, and fried green tomatoes as starters. For entrees we had the sweet potato salad, vege wrap with Brussel sprouts, Ceasar wrap with fries, and pasta. All were so much better than we thought, I mean, they knocked it out the park with the food! The drinks were sensational too, I had a rum drink that was so fabulous and perfect.
10/10 will go back

I went in with a cousin to celebrate my birthday with a comforting brunch. We sat in the bar and both ordered mimosas with a side of breakfast tacos. Everything from the food to the bartender attending us was top notch! I am definitely coming back!!

So this place is just off the square, very close to the Boot Barn Hall. You can walk to it from the square. 🙂 We have been several times now and both times it was very good. It has a relaxed, hip, atmosphere and good service. A nice selection of mixed drinks and beer. Both times I have had the burgers. I highly recommend the Southern burger and the El jefe. Both are yummy. 😊 The mac and cheese is awesome. We love the Bavarian pretzel.

Standard Service is an absolute vibe, and I say that as someone who is too old to get away with using that slang.

In all seriousness, my wife and I found this place while looking for some place new to try, and went there to eat tonight. Everything about the experience was top notch. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful and reasonably priced without sacrificing flavor. The drink menu had a lot of great options, and the ones we ordered were delicious. We particularly appreciated the use of cinnamon ice cream on the fresh peach cobbler.

Above everything else, we loved the atmosphere. Much of the time, you’ll see a modern restaurant try to retrofit some old business and put a trendy bar inside it, but it feels forced. This place just felt… right. The decor, staff, and music created an atmosphere we look forward to enjoying again. The crowd was a mix of young and old, couples and families and singles all just enjoying the… vibe.

Anyway, where other places seem to try really hard to emulate comfy cool… this place feels like the place those other places are trying to emulate. Highly recommend.
