Diletto has the absolute BEST deserts in Gainesville! I’m so thankful to have such a gem in our city. Their presentation is beautiful and their staff is so kind as well! They just added a matcha to their menu and I can’t wait to try it! 😋

This cafe is absolutely PHENOMENAL! We’re visiting from Indiana for a wedding and decided to get breakfast out at Diletto! We LOVEDDDDD the omlette, steak quesadilla, pancake, croissant, and lattes (chai and coffee). I would 100% recommend this cafe to anyone looking for amazing food and an adorable atmosphere.

This food is quality. The Oreo macaroon was tasty and it was a good macaroon, it didn’t crumble. The iced chai latte hit the spot. And the avocado toast was a nice, dense bread. The avocado was smoothed out nicely over the toast with perfect little bites of mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. And this was all served to me in under 15 minutes.

Had a hazelnut latte & an order of flan & both were phenomenal. Staff was quick, friendly, & amazing. No complaints at all. This was my first time so I can't speak on any other dishes or drinks but I'll definitely come back

I had the strawberry sweet crepe and it was unbelievably good. Wish that I had had a cappuccino but I wasn't paying attention to the drink menu and only ordered a drip coffee.
My dining partner had the panini with egg and bacon and loved it. Definitely would love to go back for lunch or dinner (breakfast is served all day too)!

My husband and I decided to stop in a visit Diletto bakery on Saturday morning a little past 11am. The location is really good for the up and coming area of Gainesville. The parking lot is a little lacking and confusing, still not that big of a deal. The auto parts store is next door so I was able to pick up some wiper blades too so that was convenient. Anyway, when we walked in we were greeted by a very nice hostess and told the wait would only be a few minutes and she let us know to wait in a little seating area. While we were waiting I had a good chance to take in the vibe of the place. It was a cute modern-industrial rustic style, very “farmhouse meets city” which I feel is very much like Gainesville. There was a very cute chalkboard mural which I loved looking at. Once we were seated someone quickly asked if we would like some water, it took a few minutes for her to come back but not long, but she left again because she was very busy and could not get our order yet. The restaurant was very busy there were people at every table, people picking up to-go orders and coming in and out. The sound kind of bounced around the building (I am a little adhd so lots of noises like that really do overwhelm my senses but it’s something most people don’t seem really notice) causing me some anxiety but the open layout and good natural light helped with that feeling. A bit later another server came out and took our orders. I got the avocado toast with seasoned potatoes and a caramel macchiato with almond milk, and my husband ordered the steak omelette with seasoned potatoes and a regular coffee. The bread was just absolutely perfect and the avocado tasted very fresh. The avocado toast came with cherry tomatoes halves and mozzarella cheese and I added a fried egg. The seasoned potatoes were delicious and came with a wonderful dill white sauce to dip them in which was a perfect combination. They were very well roasted and the skin texture of the potatoes was just what you want with seasoned potatoes. I did not try my husband’s omelette but he enjoyed it and easily ate the whole thing. I loved mine but the coffee I had and all of the potatoes and bread, I definitely bit off a little more than I could chew. I will have to go back to try some of the other menu items because so many of them looked amazing. They desserts and pastries looked really good as well.
