We are lifetime diamond honors members and choose Hilton so we have a home away from home but this time we’re very disappointed!|The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress squeaked everytime you moved. The carpets are worn, stained, and in need of vacuuming. |Comfort and cleanliness are our most important issues and neither were met here.|Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, lobby furniture was old, cushions worn and stained, some had holes in them.|The good things were, it was a convenient location and staff was pleasant.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It has shops, restaurants, and a gas station within walking distance and is close to the highway. The service was good, the breakfast waitress was very friendly. On the other hand, the hotel should improve the beds, bed sheets, sofa bed and toilet. The beds are old and the strings make noise when you move, the other bed sank when two people sat on it, the sofa bed has a thin and uncomfortable mattress, you can feel the strings of the sofa bed and finally the toilet is very low, it seems for children. There were 6 of us in the room and they only left us 3 towels, a few pillows in the beds, and the sofa bed did not have bed sheets. It is a hotel for families and pets, I can highlight that it did not have a bad smell despite being carpeted.

Overall I was disappointed in this hotel. We are diamond status members and found out this hotel doesn't offer anything but parking for members, oh and two free waters.

The staff are really nice and I have no issues with them but the hotel itself needs some updating. the carpet is old, furniture dated, beds extremely uncomfortable. Tbh this place is so outdated a 90's movie or TV show could be filmed here with no problems.

The lights made this awful buzzing noise. Sounded like a thousand bees stuck in the fixture. We had to keep them off.

The socket behind the table was so loose it could have started a fire. The one on the lamp didn't work.

The fourth floor hallway has peeling wallpaper and a lot of white stains in the carpet. It's very noticeable.

There were water/flavored water dispensers in the lobby but all were empty the entire time we were there.

And $20 per person for a basic breakfast is pricey when Golden Corral is not a mile down the street with more value and menu options.

I've been in a lot of Hilton Hotels and I would only stay here again if there were no other options.

My wife book the hotel and said the front desk clerk was extremely rude. They were not offered the rewards they should have received nor did they receive the breakfast we paid for. The rooms were not very clean. I was a Dimond member but lost it from not staying at hiltion. It's getting worse price's are going up and the service is getting worse. We stay in a hotel almost every weekend and hiltion hotels are becoming the worst place to stay

I was disappointed with everything. I booked. No one was at the front desk when I got there, had to shout out for someone to attend to my service. They didn't even apologize. Got to my room, it was a bit smelly, musky. For $150 for the night, I expected a much better setting. Outdated fixtures, no USB sockets, no security chest, no blow dryer. I was bumping into stuff, tge doors everything was in the way, seem backward. As if the place was build for a left hended person.

I used the room to get ready for the event. I decided to drive 2 hours back home after the event. The front desk then told me that they can only I can only get checked out after 3am, this was right at 12am. I was so disappointed, cause there is another location in my hometown. They are way up to par for service and everything else

I was very disappointed in this hotel number 1. we could not get the heat regulated correctly so it stayed kind of cool in our room and we had five individuals in a Suite Room. 2. there was no complimentary breakfast buffet! Breakfast consist of four items but it's not indicative of the Hilton Head garden inn in South Carolina where is you get a whole buffet for the for the price I am very disappointed 😞

Really the only issue we had was that the bed made noise when you moved, but that bothered my wife enough to warrant dropping a star. Staff was friendly and the breakfast hostess was outstanding. I'm a Gold member and received the free waters, late checkout, and the Gold Level Food and Beverage credit. They were even nice enough to allow me to use the business center after checkout to continue my work day until my wife was done with her meetings in Gainesville.

The beside charging pad was a nice touch. Qi wireless and USB A/C ports were available. There was also a Keurig in the room so bring your own pods.

We would definitely stay here again.

For a Hilton Garden Inn, this place is in need of work. Examples: wall paper around elevator buttons in hallway is peeling away on all sides, paint around handles are chipped, walls in bathroom were not very clean and room smelt musty. We were assigned a room which smelled so bad of cigarette smoke, we called the front desk to complain. The lady at the desk was so nice and apologetic. She switched our room for another. The musty smelling room. It wasn't horrible, but it was not expected or pleasing to find in the Hilton brand. I am very disappointed in the brand especially considering the amount of money we paid for the room. I would expect this from a hotel charging under $100 per night, not from one charging over $100 per night especially off season in a non tourist city. Next time we are in the Gainesville area, we will probably find other accomodations.
