Wow... Just wow!! Karla and her husband Alex just opened up THE empanada place in Oakwood... And I'm all for it! Their tequeños and pastelitos have the perfect cook time and fry which helps that texture and flavor pop on every bite. There is a reason why the name of this place is EAT MORE EMPANADAS!! Once you take a bite of their empanadas, you'll understand why. From the size (perfect... Not BIG but not tiny either), the crunch, the flavor... I highly suggest you try their CARNE MECHADA empanadas (shredded beef).

If you happen to bring a couple of friends to eat there, they have plenty of tables to sit and relax over some Venezuelan street food, or just call ahead and get your goods to go. They'll pack it up to go and it'll still be delicious by the time you get home (ask me how I know....).

Their empanadas are at $3.50 and packed with protein and flavor. Their pastelitos are $2.50 and their tequeños are $2. I'll be back to try all of the other items I know they'll be offering because I have no doubt they'll be packed with flavor as well.

Edit: They now have different plate options to choose from and they're all delicious!!! I had the fried pork and my nephew had their fried fish.... so tasty!! The rice and black beans are amazing. The ensalada maracucha is so good!!! Very happy with these options they have and it helps because sometimes you want more than the typical arepa or empanada.

Incredible restaurant! The service is the best of any Venezuelan restaurant, and the food was fantastic. It's located right next to the Oakwood Walmart, so it's a great stop after shopping!

Best empanadas in the area!! I just started loving empanadas and went here and it was amazing! Very clean, great quality food, and awesome customer service! I got the shredded beef and the pabellon empanada!

I’m going to tell you something that will change your life for when those Hispanic food cravings hit.
Get two empanadas here. With the white sauce. Maybe also a piece of flan. I love the jalapeño and cheese and pabillon.
Then, you’re going to walk out the door of the business and go down 3 doors to the right and come to a taco shop. Grab two tacos with onion, cilantro, and delicious toppings from the salsa bar. Go home, and have the most delicious meal ever.

Excellent food it was delicious no complaints on the food!!! But service needs to be a little faster 🙄 we were half way through our food and waiting on our drinks to arrive.

This Venezuelan restaurant has taken Venezuelan cuisine and brought it right here in Little Gainesville, Georgia. As someone who has ate at multiple different restaurants and tried multiple cultured foods I have to say this is hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. The people are very nice Some speak complete Spanish, which is perfect because I love practicing and other speak English and Spanish, which is great for people who don’t speak Spanish, and would love to try this amazing food. One of the most popular dishes you’ll find in Venezuela is called Pabellon. It consists of shredded beef, rice and beans. From the rice all the way down to the meat, everything is seasoned to perfection . Another classic Venezuelan dish is tequeno, which is breaded cheese. Everything is homemade and you can feel the love when you eat the food I definitely Recommend and I wish I had pictures to show, but I devoured my food.

A decent hole in the wall empanada place. Staff was friendly. Ordered a few different empanadas. The cashier told me it would take about 12 minutes.

Around 10 minutes later I got my food so no complaints. Food was good. Nothing great. A decent lunch time spot.
