Visited for the first time last night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server's name was Pierce - he was very friendly, happy to answer questions and provide suggestions, and did a fantastic job taking care of us. The food was spectacular, I ate the special, which was a crispy cod over a risotto and it just melted in your mouth. My husband had the tenderloin of beef shoulder and it was delicious! We also had some cocktails that were very tasty, a baked brie appetizer special that was wonderful and finished with sticky toffee pudding that was absolutely amazing! Definitely come try this place out, you will not regret it!

This truly was an absolutely beautiful place for a birthday dinner or any celebration. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but is well worth it. Everything was high-quality and made with love and care. This is the perfect spot for a birthday or anniversary. I couldn’t recommend them more. All the drinks were beautifully crafted.

A lot of people recommend Antebellum Restaurant in downtown Flowery Branch, GA. Nothing compares to NJ restaurants, but this restaurant surprised both of us, as we recently moved from NJ and we are exploring the food scene here. This is a romantic cozy southern restaurant. This may be our place for special occasions. Shared a baked brie appetizer. We split a salad. Instead of bread, we were served baked corn bread with jam. My husband had shrimp & grits. I had bolaganese & gnocchi with goat cheese & sweet peppers. Pecan tart and red velvet for desert. We had red wine. We didn't try any cocktails, but there is an excellent selection of drinks if thats your things . The taste suites the high prices, for us. We enjoyed dinner a week before Christmas. The downtown decorated added to the holiday vibes. It was a great night out. Our waiter was extremely friendly and explained the menu and history of the restaurant well, since we were newbies. Pace of food was perfect. We will be regulars.

I brought my husband here for his birthday and we were blown away with the food and service received.

Pierce, our server greeted us with birthday wishes and an acknowledgement and recommendations for my food preferences I had listed in our reservation.

The food was amazing!! The appetizers (fried green tomatoes), the salads, beef tenderloin and accompaniments were delicious. However, the dessert - when I tell you that sticky toffee cake was heavenly, I am not exaggerating. I could hurt myself on that cake.

We will definitely be back.

Our girl's night at Antebellum was nothing short of amazing! Between our party of 5, we ordered: baked brie app, deviled egg spread app, grilled Atlantic salmon, grilled beef tenderloin, pan seared wild Alaskan halibut, braised beef bolognese, creme brulee, strawberry cake, pomegranate Blueberry spritz mocktail, and Lavendar Lady and Espresso Martini cocktails.

Despite the volume of food, we were almost all in the "clean plate club" and enjoyed every morsel. Everything was so tasty that we all had to share bites and experience it all! The diced Georgia peaches in the halibut dish were the perfect burst of sweet flavor and complement to the creamy risotto. The tenderloin quite literally melted in the mouth, and both the salmon and bolognese were so succulent you couldn't stop eating!

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered, seated at our table right away, and received impeccable service all night long! The ambiance outside of the restaurant here is almost as good inside, and we enjoyed an evening of conversation sitting among the flowers in the small amphitheater right next door.

I see that this restaurant gets such high remarks and it is a favorite of many. It is a cozy place, but is also very dark and minimalist. It has a nice character and charm. They even have scented candles burning in the little alcove to the restrooms.
I ordered the scallops. They were extremely gritty and not the best quality. They were prepared well but were not incredibly appealing with crunchy grit all in them. They could have been rinsed more thoroughly before being cooked. You will not get large portions of food, so if you are starving when you go there, you will need to order an appetizer or a salad. The service was outstanding, and I can't say enough good things about the gentleman who took care of us. The manager was attentive and very focused on patron satisfaction.

@antebellumrestaurant in Flowery Branch offers a taste of the old South with its charming atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes. While parking can be a bit tricky if the street spots are full, the restaurant's cozy, dimly lit interior sets the stage for a delightful dining experience.

For starters, we indulged in the grilled bread topped with pimento cheese, Benton's country ham, and wild arugula. It was the perfect way to kick off our meal, with flavors that left us craving more.

My wife opted for the braised beef bolognese with house-made potato gnocchi and goat cheese, and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. As for me, I couldn't resist the grilled Atlantic salmon paired with crispy cheddar grit cake. Every bite was pure perfection, and I found myself wishing the dish would never end.

Dessert provided a sweet ending to our meal, and the staff made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our visit.

Overall, Antebellum earns a solid five out of five Roli stars for its fantastic food, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Southern hospitality.
