Needs a few upgrade s mostly cosmetics. Love the front desk staff. Beds are new Al east the rm I had was perfect. May want to have a full cleaning done. I was in a smoking rm. But I freshen the heavy smoke smell out. Little lysol change the comforter Lil old stains but you can just take off the bed I had a steamer so fresh to use on the bedding. Other than that pretty good spot if you just lodging for a few days. Rates was perfect!!!. Overall on a budget give it 71/2 out of 10. TL NY.

Our experience seemed ok until after calling ahead and making sure that dogs are allowed and was told yes for a 30 dollar a night fee it would not be a problem and that there was only 4 pet friendly rooms available and thay would make sure one was available but upon arrival the fee magical jumped to 50 dollars and travel all year with my wife and her service animal so upon arrival I didn't argue I just accepted the fee paid it and got my room key and upon opening the door the smell was overwhelming a combination of urine and bleach I immediately informed my wife of the odor and my wife said to let her decide I opened the door once again and she agreed that it was too much I immediately returned to the desk and was told did the dog go in there I said no because I was then told if the dog had gone in she was going to have to charge me for the room that was less than 10 minutes since I had gotten the key I assured her my pet never got out of my vehicle I asked her if she didn't believe me to go smell for herself I have no doubt that it's a clean place but on that day pet friendly rooms with carpet was a bad combination and I hope the owner will not pretend that it was not smelly and I was forced to get a room almost 1 hour away one thing too pet friendly should not be 50 dollars a night and if it's 50 a night that fee should be used to clean the room thoroughly I wish the owners will just accept the fact that on that particular day that somehow it wasn't as clean as it should have been because my coworker who did stay had nothing but good things to say about the hotel and I really hope the owners understands that I am giving this review just so thay will rethink pet friendly rooms and there policy's I would start with no carpet and the fees are extremely overpriced I wish the owners the best of luck

I travel a lot for business, so I stay at a lot of motels. I must say, the Jameson Inn is one of the best run motels I have stayed at in a long time. They really care and it shows. Service is excellent, rooms are really clean and everything works in the room. That sounds like it should be a "given" but believe me, that is not always the case! As an added bonus, they are about $60 cheaper per night than the Holiday Inn Express next door. I will be coming back to the Jameson Inn!

Let’s put things straight for the owners of this this Jameson Inn location/ Douglas, GA. Most folks are staying at your place because it’s $90. Plus tax =$101… and it looks neat as a pin on the exterior. $100 doesn’t buy you as much as it used to in America. This place needs some money put into it to bring it up to date and make it feel clean and BE CLEAN. The plumbing is leaky, rusty moldy. Vinyl flooring doesn’t mean you never have to MOP. Sometimes linens wear out and need replacing. Towels were in good shape I will give you that. Lampshade on nightstand was shredded. Top of NS had something spilled and dried on it for months of other folks stays. Walls sneezed on and or food dried on it. Bathroom door about to fall off the hinges. Tub just plain needs replacing. Needs new fixtures and caulking. Get rid of the extra old outdated furniture and that alone would help make the rooms look better. Grounds in good shape. This is America and not a third world country. Give folks what $100 is worth. Cleanliness.

Nice staff, clean room, good price, bed was comfortable. Wensday night and they had i guess 70 percent occupancy, their doing something right. Needs a little updating, but show me a place that doesn't need updating. Thank you we will be back again.
