we were near the area and were looking for a good lunch place and online reviews said Lazy Dog was good so we decided to check it out.

they have a great lunch special so we got one of those with the salad + soup combo, a hamburger, a grilled cheese, and cheese curds to start off with.

the cheese curds were average as they tasted more like mini mozzarella sticks vs cheese curds. the burger was really good and a good size and the accompanying fries were good. the grilled cheese also had good flavor and was a good portion size; we got onion rings with that which were not good. for the soup we got chicken tortilla which was really good with lots of chicken and flavor and a big portion. the accompanying caesar salad was also good and a huge portion.

overall a good place for relaxed lunch and good lunch specials

I LOVE Lazy Dog! Their patio is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxing meal while out shopping at The Forum. My favorites are the burgers and the fish tacos. My mom got the pot pie once and it looked delicious as well. The beer menu is extensive so if you want to grab a drink you’ll have lots of options! 100% recommend this spot.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would. The atmosphere is Montana. Cool wood beams a wood fireplace , Southwestern flooring. It was very cozy. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was phenomenal. I got the bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. My husband got the bison burger with onion rings. Again full of flavor top-notch. We will definitely be back here. They brought us out this complimentary cup of these house-made chips. Once again flavors were super fresh and very good.

The atmosphere is so chill. The food was delicious. Drinks where goos. Our server Dawn is pretty good with making sure u are well taken care of. The manager Jamil came to check on us. Overall, it's a great spot for a date, family, and to have a drink at the bar.

I came for Happy Hour, but the experience was disappointing. The atmosphere is nice—authentic American—but everything else was just okay. I ordered two rounds of the $4 house gin and tonic and some food from the Happy Hour menu, but I was overcharged for the drinks and a regular-priced fries instead of the Happy Hour price. The waitress, while checking on me a couple of times earlier, completely disappeared after placing the payment machine on my table. Even after the manager came over to apologize and fix the mistake, she never returned. She also had no knowledge of the Happy Hour menu or the house liquor options. The food was mediocre—the fries were too hard, the buffalo cauliflower was overly greasy, and the mini corn dogs tasted like something straight from a bulk pack at Costco. Service was just okay, but the overall experience wasn’t great.

A good experience. We had the southern fried chicken salad and the bison burger. The salad was absolutely outstanding. 10/10. The bison burger had a too much going on. The flavor of the bison meat was totally lost to the flavor of the bacon jam, which wasn’t that good. 6/10. But the onion rings were great. We will go again, but will just try something other than the burger next time.

P.S. - We also got some of their frozen TV dinners to-go on a six meals for $50, and those frozen dinners were pretty good. With an easy side salad we’re able to split each meal as a dinner for two, so we ultimately got 12 very easy meals out of $50, which is a great value. The frozen tv meals we got were the chicken pot pie, shepherds pie, enchiladas, and pasta.

Lazy Dog was so cutely decorated for the holidays! Really felt like I was celebrating the holidays at a friend’s cabin. Nicholas was AMAZING. He was over the top with his service - I never had to ask for refills, he didn’t forget anything, he consistently stopped by to check on us but not in an overbearing way. He was very friendly and more than happy to make you feel welcome and have a good experience. Hannah also killed it behind the bar.

As for the food, I love that they had a wide variety. We got the bison burger and the house club. The bison burger rivals that of Ted’s Montana and hit the spot for someone craving a bison burger. As for the club, bacon was perfectly crispy and bread toasted just right. The lemon tots were crunchy but not a lot of lemon flavor. The Cajun fries were also very crunchy and light, but they were definitely seasoned. Their homemade ranch complimented the sides as well, definitely had to bring some of it home with me.

I love their twisted sodas - if you’re someone who likes their floats to be more on the liquid side, this is basically what you’re getting (which I prefer but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea).

Will be back to try more and especially because Nicholas did such a good job!!

I usually don’t write bad reviews… I think it’s cringe but going in I had high hopes for a tasty meal. The atmosphere and vibes of the restaurant only excited me more for the meal I was going to order. My friend and I got the spicy fried rice with the tuna which was yummy! But I was disappointed with the Thai noodles. Looking back now I feel like going with a hearty meat plate would’ve been better. The Thai noodles were a bit flavorless and the chocolate mousse was more of a pudding in a cup than anything. Regardless my friend had a good birthday the staff was really professional and friendly. I’d go again but I’d avoid anything that’s not obviously ā€œAmerican cuisine ā€œ
