I’m glad we tried this place for dinner. Best baked and fried chicken in the area. Don’t know how we missed this gem of place. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides of rice, pigeon beans, pinto beans and okra were equally delicious as chicken. The owner of this place is courteous and friendly. She definitely knows her work. My money would be going to support business of my own people. Definitely my to go place and recommended place as well👍🏻

The fried chicken, y'all! Juicy and crispy and tastes like *mine* does at home. We also got the cabbage and yams, both of which were delicious. We will definitely be visiting this place again!

Ordered the smothered chicken, seasoned rice with gravy, black eyed peas, cornbread and sweet potato pie. The food was not good at not sure what how they made the sweet potato pie couldn’t have been with real potatoes. It was kind of jelly like. The food was sloppy and nasty. There were no onions or bell peppers or anything. No vegetables at all in the Black Eyed Peas the chicken, and the skin was just nasty and it wasn’t seasoned well at all I would not order here again. I flip the pie so you can see the crust like this I don’t know what this is. I’m annoyed cause I was really hungry and tried something new. $45 spent and wasted.

They've been in this location for over a decade and have consistently provided good food at a reasonable price. Very much worth trying, especially when you tire of eating all the same fast foods out there.

Lima beans dry, macaroni and cheese fry and hard like it’s been sitting for hours and neither of them had any flavor. The chicken was fresh. The cornbread was sweet like jiffy. Peach cobbler taste like it was made with no sugar added peaches and was horrible. First time here at the Stonecrest Mall location.

Ordered the 2 piece tilapia & 5 shrimp dinner. Food was OK but our tilapia was fried a little hard, and our shrimp looked like the battered frozen shrimp you buy at the store. The cabbage was decent but the yams were clunky and had SO MANY STRINGS in them.

The first time I went food was good and on point. I had a 2 piece spicy snack with roll and a slice of lemon cake. Their lemon cake is SO GOOD, if you like the one from Starbucks this is BETTER !!! The second time I went The food was not fresh and roll was hard as a rock, I also went 30 mins before closing so maybe that’s why. I went A third time and no issues. Customer service was good all three times I went. I would definitely recommend.
