I recently ordered a catered lunch for a McMaster University work event and couldn’t be more impressed with the service. Mary was a delight to work with, addressing all my needs and questions despite my multiple emails! The wraps and sandwiches were delicious, hearty, and fresh. Everything was beautifully packaged and well-labeled. The delivery was on time, and Sean was fantastic—he loaded everything onto my cart and explained what each item was. We received many compliments from our guests! Dora’s Delicatessen & Catering truly stands out for their exceptional quality and great service. I will definitely be using them again for future events. We recently ordered wraps from Dora's Delicatessen & Catering. The wraps were absolutely delicious and the presentation of the wraps were very impressive.!!! We received so many compliments from our guests at our event. They describe the wraps as the BEST EVER!!! Dora's Delicatessen & Catering is outstanding for quality and service. We will be most definitely using them again.

Honestly I didn't know what to expect when walking into the store. Grateful I did cuz I found a hidden gem. I took Sean's recommendation and got the Reubenator. Holy fudge! The portion was great and it's way better than something like Subway.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. Best sandwich shop I've been to in a while.

Dora's Delicatessen & Catering is truly exceptional! Imagine a home cooked meal by your Grandmother (assuming your grandmother was a wonderful cook) that is as delicious as it is comforting! The ingredients were simple, but the flavours were out of this world! There is a lot of skill and artistry at Dora's.

We ordered the full thanksgiving dinner to take with us yurt camping to MacGregor Point Provincial Park. I mean it was everything! Turkey (perfectly cooked, carved and layered with gravy in a metal container, ready to reheat), homemade cranberry sauce, extra gravy, mashed potatoes with butter, stuffing (OH THE STUFFING), fresh buns and butter, an apple pie - and because we can't help ourselves a side of ham & pineapple. My husband isn't normally a turkey guy, however he said this was the best turkey he has ever had!! The stuffing was wonderfully fragrant with fresh herbs, firm celery, onions and stock. The mixed veg were tender, yet firm and the mashed potatoes were smooth & creamy. The cranberry sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tart and wonderful accompaniment to the juicy and tender turkey. The gravy was velvety, full of flavour and was welcome on every single item on my plate. Liquid gold, as they say!

We had ordered too much food, so the next morning we made breakfast sandwiches on the grill with the buns, ham & pineapple and it was 100% the right choice.

We have never ordered food to take camping, but I can assure you this is a thanksgiving tradition we would like to continue year after year - always with Dora's Thanksgiving Dinner Menu!

(Also, honestly everything else is great at Dora's as well! The Hot Cross Buns, Mini Chicken Pot Pies, baked goods, all of it!)

Dora’s is a great place to get a sandwich or meat pie or a sweet treat, it’s very affordable which is rare nowadays and they are super friendly and family oriented

Absolutely AMAZING, the food was prepared with care, and you can tell the owner takes pride in their product. Great price point for what they're offering unlike some other fancy shops on the street which are just bells and whistles with no substance. Cute and homey shop decorated with family pictures. we need to support neighborhood business like this before gentrification runs them out of business. we will be visiting regularly to make sure places like this keeps their space in this city. If you're shopping around, please give them a try!

I've been living in the neighbourhood for a couple years but only recently started going to Dora's. The food is SO good, and the sandwiches are stuffed full. Great prices + quality ingredients. Their lemonade + brownies are awesome too. I will definitely be popping back in!
