I went there after seeing the pictures and found that it was a totally different place called Clover Cafe. The staff was polite. The food was awful. I ordered shrimp and grits and was given plain grits with no butter or salt or flavor for that matter, and the shrimp tasted like those cheap shrimp you buy out of Walmart to make quick salads. I also ordered very salty wings that looked like they had been beat to death before they were cooked cause they were brown inside. The lemonade was passable since it wasn't fountain lemonade. I paid $40 and ended up throwing most of it in trash.

They changed the name to Clover Cafe. The place looks 100% better, the food is amazing and the service is great.

The ambiance of the restaurant is the main attraction. Very well decorated, atmosphere was great. Customer Service was great, no complaints. The reason i rated the restaurant overall 3 stars 🌟 is because the food did not meet expectations. None of the menu items met expectations. The food tasted reheated after 24 hours. however, the flavor of the food was mostly flavorful. slow week, perhaps?

Service was good but my wife ate there and afterwards had an allergic reaction to fish. Food was not the same and definitely was some new faces and I go there quite often. It’s been a lot of horror stories about the owners and them not able to keep staff so understand if it’s a lack of training. But hope they get it together before anyone else gets sick like my wife and her friend. In reply; For the “Owner” to not take this seriously and charge it to a distraught employee is all I needed to know to believe what they say about this place.

First I want to say this is my second time eating at this restaurant and both times have been great!! I want to talk about how Gooood the Gumbo was that I ordered on Friday I wanted to come back and get another one before it closed but I was too full it was enough for me and I was so pleased with hot and fresh everything was all meats with cooked to perfection and the lady that took my ordered assured me I was going to be pleased and babyyyy I’m happy I chose the meal of the day !! She was very nice and friendly and pretty and the cook was excellent and nice and did an amazing job!! I will be back for sure thanks yall for that amazing experience!!! I wish I took a picture of my bowl it was sooooo Goooooood!!!

Ok...I wanted Fish & Grits this morning for Breakast. I was OVER IMPRESSED!!! I am a Foodie. Presentation, Service and Flavor is everything to me. I've only had Grits ao good either at home or The Flying Biscuit. The Grits blew me away and the Catfish was Hot Flaky and Tender. Thanks Ms. Mona for coming to Palmetto! Ms. Vanessa and Chef Brian you are both Superb! I may be back for Dinner before you close this evening! Keep up the Extraordinary Work! Much Sucess to The Smoking Chic Crew!!!
