The building speaks of its long history with every creaking door and floor. The rooms are comfortable and roomy, furnished with antique dressers and chifforobes. The beauty could really stand out in Senoia with some care and investment. The building and the grounds are indeed beautiful, but need some love and maintenance. We enjoyed our time, and met some great people, one couple that returns annually over the past several years. While the breakfast part of this bed and breakfast was a missing component, downtown Senoia has some truly wonderful and delicious options just a hop-skip and jump away. The manager, Katie, was awesome! She is a great conversationalist, showed genuine interest in each of the guests, and is constantly moving amongst the rooms and halls. She really added personality to our visit and the building. She shared the some of the inn's rich history with us and seemed genuinely interested answering any questions we had. We will return again.

The Veranda Historic Inn is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its historic charm and cozy accommodations. The inn perfectly captures the beauty of a small-town getaway, offering a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. One of the best parts was its convenient locationโ€”just a short walk to several great restaurants, making it easy to enjoy local dining without needing to drive.

The town itself is like something out of a storybook, with friendly locals who go above and beyond. We even witnessed a heartwarming moment when a couple accidentally left their credit card at a restaurant, and a local police officer personally returned it to them. There was a tornado warning one night we were there. Katie checked in on everyone to ensure we were all ok during the event and the next morning. That level of kindness and hospitality truly speaks to the character of this community.

If you're looking for a relaxing stay with historic charm, a prime location, and a warm, small-town feel, the Veranda Historic Inn is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

The Veranda Historic Inn is a beautiful inn, rich in history. We often house our conference speakers there and when the speakers return they always beg us to put them there again. The workers are always so great and make our guests feel amazing and special. The Inn has beautiful charm, the front porch is amazing to sit on and the Inn is within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops in downtown Senoia. Highly recommend them!

We took a day trip from Atlanta. I was traveling with my 14 year old and 11 year old and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is an easy walk to filming locations and restaurants. The Inn is very welcoming and friendly. We played poker, chess and watched a movie. It was very cool and a unique travel experience to spend time together. I would recommend it!

Great first stay! Nikki was very welcoming, and our room #8 was cozy. We actually had the entire inn to ourselves for a couple of days, so cool! It felt like it was our own house. Thanks for the cookies! We'll be back.

This place can use a good renovation and maybe a good clean. It is older and has lots of charm, but it is slowly falling apart and could use a good deep clean. This place is definitely showing its age. Also why does a bed and breakfast not serve breakfast? We were told that they would serve a lite breakfast at 8:30am and they didn't have anything but cookies from the night before. I loved the town and will come back, but not to stay here.

It was my first time staying at an inn. We usually just stay in a hotel when we travel. This was the best experience we have had staying out of town. The inn is so charming, really neat how it is still so much like it must have been when it was first built. The porch is awesome and a wonderful place where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. We didn't have to get in our car for anything while staying. There were some great restaurants on main st. Just a street over. The staff were so welcoming and are quick to answer a call even when they aren't there. We will definitely stay for a date weekend again!
