None of the door locks work. You have to use the latch at the top. Room service never comes in to clean because they don’t have the key. You have to leave your door visibly open if you want them to clean. Which is unsafe and a policy they have posted instide the room. When I walked into my room it seemed regular until you look closer. There was a shaving razor on top of the bathroom light, weird stain on the toilet that looked like nut, dead roaches in the bathroom and next to bed, the towels in the room had small hairs on it so they clearly don’t wash anything well, and my second day I seen a roach on top of the refrigerator and had to kill it… I have pictures of all of this. I got a non smoking room and was supposed to get my deposit back as long as I didn’t smoke in there… didn’t smoke at all. I stepped outside so much times the security knew my face and they never gave my money back after staying in the filthy room. The man that owns it/manages it, is a dark skin almost bald man with a nasty attitude and spends his time replying to bad reviews of the hotel as if we’re wrong for writing them.. also I’m not being colorist or anything I’m black too. Just wanted to describe him in case yall see him. Roaches, dirty towels, nut stained toilets, dirty surfaces, shaving razors, lack of room service, broken locks and opened door I payed extra for that Yea no. Please find something better

I will be honest and say I have not stayed at this hotel. However, I will be traveling to the area and this is one hotel I considered. But, looking at the reviews which all basically say the exact same things - rooms are filthy; roaches are everywhere; bed/linen stains; smell of weed; constant police presence; and despite the low rate, fees are charged. When people write reviews, as they are entitled to do, the hotel owner/manager ARGUES with the CUSTOMER in their response! I have NEVER seen such disrespect. What happened to “the customer is always right”? Whoever is responding to these reviews needs training on customer service. You are LOSING potential customers with your responses… literally turning them away from your hotel. NEVER argue with them and NEVER call them a liar. Geez! I don’t care if they did lie, don’t do it. You really ticked me off with your responses and I will never stay at your hotel. I know I am not the only one. I just one person who is letting you know. I know there are plenty more who have seen your responses who did not say anything but turned away forever as well. Do your hotel a favor and get customer service training and fast. And if you respond to this review, be careful and watch your words. It would be VERY NICE if you were respectful with all your responses from here on out. Look at other reviews and see how other owner/managers handle the negative ones.

The whole hotel stinks. Walls was dirty. I seen a few roaches crawling around. I don’t know if it was a pill or what on the floor in my room but I wasn’t about to touch it. The tv channels work when they want to. But the staff was friendly

House keeping is annoying as hell all day. |Also felt very unsafe. One day I had someone knock on my door and ask for a lighter and hid from the peephole and I could see two shadows through peep hole. Knowing not to open door I said no lighter sorry then they went straight back down the no camera stairs NOT ASKING ANYONE ELSE JUST ME! I personally think someone saw me while I was there with exspensive shoes on and I was bout to get robbed. Second time a guy asked me a bunch of questions some I answered some I didn’t. He asked how long id be here I clearly said I’m leaving. He then asked if he could use the restroom in my room?! Why!? Third thing was someone knocked on my door again and after 15sec said oh shoot wrong one!

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel had a weird smell. While checking into rooms, one room had clothes in it as if someone was already staying there or it hadn't been cleaned. Toilet ran, barely flushed. Just didn't look clean.

Do come don't waste your money or time. This is a half way house. |I looked in the room and walked out saying you can have the money y'all need it , and never looked back. This needs a whole new update. Need a new foundation, new paint job, reminds me of the Shinning scary movie. ||I wanted to make my rating circle a half not a full

Honestly the only thing the hotel has is the very kind and respectful which is the young man gives at the front desk he was the only reason i decided to book on multiple occasions. The room’s had roaches VERY BADLY! also the manager bald head jameel. is very rude. very disrespectful and it seems as to if he wakes up angry with himself. i’ve never seen someone rudely talk to my manager WHO WAS BOOKING ROOMS/giving the company money which made us ultimately not spend anymore money with them after the disrespectful comments due to me expressing that i’ve experienced too many roaches in the room. The young man is very positive and the business will slowly bloom with that kids future PLEASE BLESS HIS HEART !

From roaches coming out of a hole near the tub, to hair from others in the shower and door stopper in the bathroom. Our stay was absolutely awful.

We ended up not complaining to the front desk due to our friends in another room complaining and being told that they weren’t right about seeing roaches and bedbugs in their room.
Dirty towels were hung up in our room, questionable stains on the beds, no actual covers for the beds just two tops sheets and the thinnest pillows to accompany them.
The beds are paper thin on top of cheap frames with wood on them so the bed doesn’t sink into the grooves cause there is no box spring or thick enough mattress for them.

This place looks so nice from the outside but don’t let that fool you.
Elevator is run down and sometimes tries to move while the door is open (it’s lurched upwards on me more than once).
Heavy police presence (almost every night one was posted out side the main road) and you can hear children screaming into the early hours of the night

There is no breakfast nook like it shows in the pictures. People just hang out in that room for up to 24hrs at a time.

No screens in the window so don’t let your kids near them. (Atleast they open to get rid of the weird smell that we sometimes got a whiff of)

This place doesn’t deserve your money. Go elsewhere
