Cute spot in Virginia highlands, super packed on Sunday. There's two spots in the window to sit and otherwise no seating inside, couple spots outdoors. They have some cute merch, and they sell fresh meat, wine and produce as well. Iced mocha was average, not much taste, $6.

We had such an amazing time here trying all the different drinks! It was awesome to see how some cocktail philosophy + coffee + milk can create some truly special drinks. I'm really glad to see them using some of the best roasters and truly special coffee.

Owner was amazing to talk with, and really enjoyed diving in deep on coffee/roasters/etc. that can be somewhat niche. Academy is truly building a special experience and brings everything great about specialty coffee to the Atlanta area.

I don't have coffee super often but have noticed this place in passing several times in the highlands and glad I decided to give it a try. They have really good ratings and I think it is well deserved. I had a double [sausage] breakfast sandwich and a mocha latte and both were really good! Employees were very nice and informative of the options and provided great service. The shop is small and has 2 window nooks but did not really notice much in terms of other space for dining in aside from some tables out on the breezeway. Definitely will stop in for a coffee and sandwich again soon!

What an awesome place for coffee and breakfast. We stopped in before Porchfest to grab a latte and found that they also have an awesome selection of fresh produce and a butcher! The steaks looked insane.

What I wasn’t ready for was the effing BREAKFAST SANDWICH. Holy crap, I got the double and the lady recommended sausage and bacon… I can’t really explain how good this sandwich was. The bread is super fresh, sausage and bacon were top quality, and there was some kind of marinated onions in there with cheese and fluffy egg. Unbelievable!

Got the chicken sandwich and the seasonal cappuccino. Both were fantastic!

They’re a multi roaster and also use Minor Figures which is rare in Atlanta. The owner clearly cares about the taste of their coffee and produces highly quality home made syrups as well. Whether you’re looking for a high quality cappuccino or a creative latte, this place has it!

Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious and made right there. The bacon and eggs in the breakfast sandwich and the chicken in the chicken sandwich were all very high quality.

Highly recommend checking out this place - you won’t be disappointed

Really loved this coffee/butcher shop! The place has a lot of customers but still makes some delicious coffee and sandwiches in a timely manner. The baristas are very kind, genuine, and down to earth. I had an egg & cheese sandwich it was the best I've had in a long time! Really recommend stopping by and giving them a try. Thank you to the staff of Academy, especially George, for a great morning coffee & breakfast. 😋

One of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in Atlanta. The owner and barista were so knowledgeable and pleasant.
The knowledge of coffee was extraordinary. The development of flavors in the drink offerings or something I haven’t found in Atlanta.
They truly have a desire to create a drink, experience different from other places that I’ve friend in Atlanta.

One of the best flat whites that I've had in the USA. A brilliant breakfast sandwich too! Lots of seating outside, but it would be hard to just hangout and connect. Excellent coffee!!
