We stopped in for dinner at this locally owned BBQ spot on the way back home after our day trip to Athens.
We ordered the sampler platter to share along with a sweet tea and a lemonade.
The sampler player came with brisket, chopped pork, ribs, Mac and cheese and beans.
The meat was tender, flavorful and enjoyable. The Mac and cheese was good but even better with a bit of salt that I added. The beans were tender and seemed ketchup based but were tasty. The tea was a bit sweet for my liking, but I'm also not southern.
We eyed the peach cobbler and apple crumble but were too full for either.
When we walked in we were greeted kindly and told we could sit anywhere we wanted to. Within just a few minutes our waitress was at our table kindly asking for our drink order. She brought chips along with cups of ice.
On the table was 4 different types of sauce, and they were all delicious in their own way.
We enjoyed each with different meats from our sampler.
The restaurant was clean with a large seating area and a great size parking lot.
They had a separate dining area with round tables that was closed off as well.
Service was quick and efficient.
I'd definitely recommend you stop at this place to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We ate lunch in the biggest city in Oglethorpe county the metropolis city of Crawford GA with a stop light. The BBQ plate is worth the drive. The BBQ had a great flavor, the stew was great, the coleslaw was good. It's in the Chevy dealership their great old sigh hanging up. Good price. We will be back.

What a great find in Crawford Ga. I have passed by this place several times and have been wanting to stop by. Am I glad I finally gave it a try. The atmosphere is cool. The staff is friendly and all seem happy to be there. I had the special which included 3 ribs, 2 sides, bread a drink and desert for $13.99. What a deal! Eveything was really good. Our server Alexs suggestions were spot on. Needles to say I will be back.

We’ve been coming to G Brand for almost 3 years now. All the sauces are tasty, but my favorite is Anne’s White Sauce.
A great locally owned and operated restaurant. Everything we’ve order has been good. We’re looking forward to our next trip.

I’m always leery of BBQ joints that don’t have a smoker on site. And unfortunately this place falls into the same category. Pulled pork sandwich was dry, flavorless and had zero seasoning (Meat Church is your friend) to it. No smoke flavor (as apparent by the lack of smoke ring/pink color)and no bark. Maybe they pull those pieces out.

Portion size was good and the sauce made up for the lack of flavor. But if you can’t get pulled pork right I’m afraid to see the pricier ribs and brisket.

Photos are of their pulled pork, and a recent shoulder I smoked and pulled. Night and day difference. Maybe time for me to open a BBQ food truck if theirs passes for a $7 sandwich!

BBQ so good you don’t need sauce but all the sauces are amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. A must stop if you are anywhere near!

And save room for the banana pudding!

I had the brisket sandwich and it certainly ranks up there as one of the best I've had. The cole slaw was perfectly sweet and had a great crunch. I will probably come back to get a giant tub for takeout eventually. Next time I'm here for dinner I'll get a different side instead of stew. The stew was delicious, but it was too much meat for me after already devouring my sandwich. Would love to see cornbread on the menu. I'm happy I live close enough to make a regular dining spot for me.
