So much to say
The only way you'd feel let down by these fine people is to have very unrealistic expectations.

From the staff to the rooms to the location, this is a beyond superb choice for your stay in Helen.

The room we stayed in, 12, was spacious, spotless and well appointed including the heart shaped jacuzzi which hardly anyone has anymore.

You simply cannot go wrong choosing to stay here.

Yall are going to think these reviews are hyperbolic and over the top.
You simply will not understand what we're saying until you experience it for yourselves.

The gremlins like to mess with my plans and they did this time with the catalytic convertor on the wife's car. Angie worked with us and even offered to allow us to check in after hours if we could get our end of the issue resolved.

While waiting for the reservation, I asked about the breakfast as I have specific diet needs. Angie offered to cook specifically for them but turns out, the breakfast already included foods appropriate for me and my health needs and being an old farm kid, I've got a hearty appetite, and I never left the breakfast table hungry.

From the room to the staff to the patio to the koi pond and the little extras they do, you simply can't make a better choice.

The most important part of any vacation is where you're gonna hide away at.
You simply will not regret making this, your choice for lodging.

We booked 2 nights for our anniversary. We originally booked the Dutch Bliss room, but upgraded last minute to the Scandinavian Suite to avoid stairs. It was well worth it. The suite has plenty of space and is quaint and cozy. Everything was clean and well-equipped. The breakfasts were delicious! One morning they had blueberry pancakes and the next peach pancakes. There were also scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of meats, fresh fruit, and toast options. They keep a wide selection of teas and coffee with various creamers. They even stock snacks that you can access during the day and early evening. Angie and her team made sure we never lacked anything. It's also very close to the main stuff in Helen, so you can skip driving and paying $10 for parking downtown. We will be back!

We stayed here this past weekend for our one year anniversary, and we had a great stay. Not only is the location great, the room was fantastic and had everything we needed and plenty of character and charm. Angie was amazing. From the moment we got there until the moment we left she was fantastic. Always happy to see and greet us, to help point out all of the places on the maps, to even noticing we almost missed breakfast and made sure we had hot fresh food. Will be booking thru their direct website next time!

This bed & breakfast was truly the best experience. We booked here for our anniversary celebration and we truly enjoyed it. Breakfast was amazing every day with delicious fruit and different pancakes every morning. The staff were all so helpful and attentive. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and super comfortable. The location of this b&b is perfect, everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend this place, e will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Black Forest Bed and Breakfast! Angie was so accommodating especially when we had to change our reservation dates. I was nervous that we wouldn't be able to change our reservation and that we would lose a deposit but without hesitation Angie rearranged the date for us and was so kind. She made us feel like family. She was so helpful about the best attractions, restaurants etc. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. The free, hot breakfast was just as good as described and the pancakes really are fantastic. We immediately fell in love with the town of Helen as well as Angie and all the staff. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more and we are already planning a trip back.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Our host was so kind and friendly. She told us how it was her families home and how they came upon it. She showed us where all the great spots to eat were. We will be going back and you should all go now

We had a great weekend getaway here! Breakfast was fantastic. You can walk to anywhere in town from the property. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in one of the little cabins.

First time in Helen and the owners were so sweet especially Angie. the breakfast every morning was delicious and always fresh. I think about those apple pancakes still! The rooms were super cute with heart shaped tubs and a fireplace. My only complaint with the rooms would be that there is no air flow or ceiling fans unless you turn the AC on and the unit smelled like old wet wood and i couldn’t handle the smell. The shower head was so hard on pressure it actually hurt and was not enjoyable. But regardless, 5 stars for the location, the owners, the breakfast, the snacks, and the vibe of the room. I would come back again for sure
