Great Again! My favorite seafood restaurant. The shrimp tacos and lobster bisque were great. I couldn't get a picture of their chocolate fudge and ice cream covered brownie, because it sort of just disappeared. 😀

I've ordered twice now and both times the instructions were not followed and the first time I received the wrong dish. The steak wasn't marinated and lacked any depth of flavor. There were no sear marks on the chicken, steak, or fajita vegetables. The portion of rice and beans they gave me was that of a child's.

Edit: To marinate something is different than seasoning it prior to cooking. This was well seasoned but it didn't take to the steak. It tasted like the fajitas I made at home the first time 20 years ago using flank steak and a McCormack seasoning packet. Tough meat, no depth of flavor in the bite.

I’ve seen numerous glowing reviews of Costa Alegre online and finally went to try it out. Everything was wonderful! I could clearly taste and see that everything was made in house. Everything my husband and I had was delicious! Large portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose some great options! We had Rockefeller oysters, one of the burritos (can’t remember the name), and empanadas (steak and octopus). I guess I haven’t had properly cooked octopus before because this was delicious! Not chewy at all. Highly recommend this place and support this great local business!

Lunch for 3 adults and a 4 year old was almost $130 with tip. We ordered no alcohol.. Iced tea is 3.50. Shrimp for the tacos were tasty but the slaw was very soupy and ruined the presentation. Chicken breast was overcooked. My niece asked for some sour cream. She was charged $1.00 for a tablespoon container. It was lunch rush hour and there were only 4 tables of customers. Service was great but I will not be back.

The food here is EXCELLENT. We had the Baja shrimp tacos which have a delightfully sweet cabbage with pineapple mixed in, that tops the breaded shrimp. The empanadas were delicious! The steak and cheese empanada was so good and the meat was very moist. We will be back!

This review is Costa Alegre, the new place. Great food! Great service! We had the Chicken Fajitas, excellent taste! Lets hope Los Primos doesn't find out my wife and I cheated on them. Lol

The best torta I’ve had in a long time! The fresh bread makes all the difference. Wonderful chips, salsa and great guacamole as well. May seem little, but the French fries were perfect too!
