Had a reservation for a King room - upon arrival was informed no Kings were available. Got a double Queen suite - was clean and on the first floor down the hall from the lobby. The hotel is about a mile away from the mall with restaurants including Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q which we tried - it was good! Breakfast at the hotel was aok. There was a problem with some of the entry doors from the parking lot - had to walk around to the front entrance to gain access in the morning. All that being said I would stay there again if I was in the area...

I would say this is the best WEST SIDE hotel you'll find in the greater Athens Area. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, hotel is in a safe business development area. Overall, this is the hotel I most recommend to out of town guests who need to be on the west side/bogart/watkinsville.

Had a lovely stay while visiting relatives for the 2024 Thanksgiving Holiday. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, and suited our limited needs perfectly. The breakfast setup was orderly, clean, and varied--nicely done 👍The hotel staff were notably warm, welcoming, and helpful (Thank you in particular to Holly!). We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit the Athens GA area! 👍

The staff is very friendly at this hotel! They are very accommodating! The location is good. The breakfast was OK and that’s the highest I could give them. The coffee was always lukewarm. The limited food was like that. On occasion you might get a breakfast meat but not always. The eggs were watery and powdered and Luke warm. No toast available. The hotel is clean but slightly outdated. The heated/cooling system is not good unless you want to be warm or hot all the time. Overpriced for sure. Oh and when it snows or is icy please don’t spare the ice melt!

Unfortunately, not a positive experience. Booked the meeting room for an event and a sleeping room for the night before. Cancelled the sleeping room due to a family emergency. Did y'all know that Marriott can elect to not refund their charges? Yeah, check the very, very, very fine print under the more info section of your reservation. I did not, and it cost me $350. So, bottom line is this place is happy to take your $$ without providing the service. Does this sound like plain old common theft to anyone else? And good luck getting anyone at this location to speak with you about it! No worries, though. Our team does 8-10 of these events per year. We'd traditionally split the between the 3 main chains. Guess which one we won't use going forward?

The hotel was nice however I didn't like the service. We reserve 3 weeks ago for a price with a military discount. Drove 5 hours to Athens,GA. Get there, and they charge us 3xs the price. She says, military discount doesn't include veterans , it's your job to read the fine print. I was fish grease mad. Ended up staying and paying cause we were tired. Won't stay again.

Quiet spot convenient to 316 and the Athens bypass. Staff friendly and professional. Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. My only quibble is a room that big needs a bigger tv.

Came here for graduation. I was quoted one price over the phone but when I actually got here it was something different. When I called I asked if they gave a military discount? I was told that they did. Not once did anyone say the discount was for active duty military personnel on assignment. I stay at a Marriott establishment at least twice a month and I have never not have them honor my Military ID because I'm a veteran and not active duty. After this stay I will be carrying my business to the Holiday Inn or
somewhere else where they do honor Veterans.
