In Clayton on business and booked the Bridge Creek Inn on their website which was a better deal than going through Expedia. Excellent renovated old hotel with a contemporary vibe. My room was spotless, ultra modern and a bit minimalist. Wi Fi worked well, so did the television. Very attentive and friendly staff. I would equate the room with Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard. Vandiver Restaurant in lobby is upscale and excellent. I'd recommend walking down to the Clayton Cafe for a great breakfast or lunch. Its just a couple blocks up main street. This hotel will be my stop next time I am in Clayton.

Amazing location and affordability is the reason for 5 stars. Super walkable to restaurants and shops as the hotel sits right at the top of Main Street. Room was well furnished and very clean, but would have liked an actual closet and maybe a coffee pot in room. They do have coffee downstairs but only available in the morning, and when my husband needed cream, it had curdled and were out of fresh. Would also like to have bottled water available or in the rooms, but there is a bottle filler on each floor. Overall great place to stay for proximity to hikes and downtown location. Perfect for a night or two for a couple.

I like it but only gives this place 4 stars. The service was great, and the rooms were clean, which we appreciated. However, there were a few things that made our stay less convenient, especially for families with kids like me.

There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room, which made it difficult to prepare simple meals or snacks for the kids. The hotel looks good, modern and again the service was really good but for me is not a family friendly hotel. For couples is perfect and they have restaurant on site.

My husband and I arrived at The Bridge Creek Inn and we were immediately greeted by the sweetest young lady. She checked us in, and was so nice and friendly, that was beyond my expectations.

As we entered our hotel room, we were thrilled how comfortable and cozy the room felt boasting high ceilings, beautiful views, and a large wonderful bathroom. Our bed was super comfortable and all amenities just wonderful. (Also, best coffee served in the lobby)!!!!

We had snow when we stayed which added that magical touch.

My Fiancé and I decided to stay local for our Valentine’s Day. Walking in we were immediately greeted with a smile. The cleanliness of the lobby is definitely something I would like to brag on.

As we entered our room, I was greeted with a rose laid on the table. The room was EXTREMELY clean and staged beautifully. The walls are super thin though.

Overall was a greet experience.

We love to getaway to Clayton for hiking, dinner and drinks. Boutique hotel is modern, our room was very clean and king bed very comfortable. Great price and location too.
Of special note Sabrina went over and above for us. So did Kayla the restaurant GM and we loved Tanner the bartender. We will be back!

This was my first stay at the Bridge Creek Inn. My expectations were not great for a hotel in downtown Clayton, but my experiences at the hotel were fantastic! Our greeting when entering the hotel was warm and friendly with very quick service. When we entered our room, I was very impressed with the size and decoration of the room. The bathroom was also large and very modern with nice fixtures throughout. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a first class experience at a hotel in Clayton! We will most certainly return to the Bridge Creek Inn in the future.

What a lovely hotel. The concrete floors and textures are clean but warm. Don't ask me how they pulled that off, but they did. The room was comfortable with high ceilings. The lobby was comfortable and inviting. Parking is a little wonky, but there were ample parking spaces available. Clayton is charming and quaint. We used the hotel as a stopover to our final destination, but I would definitely come back to spend a weekend and explore what Clayton has to offer. The staff was attentive and embodied southern hospitality.
