We have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and this was the worst of them all. Everything about our overnight stay was bad.

Check in issues.

Room was disgusting. The AC fan stayed on all the time and was extremely loud. There was no way to turn it off. We couldn’t fall asleep. When the AC kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine was in the room. Dirty room, everything was falling apart, including the TV connection to the wall, fridge leg, sink facet. Everything seemed like it was about to fall off. Bedding and towels were old. Towels were folded as if by a 7 year old. Overall, not an inviting atmosphere.

Breakfast was also sub par. Smaller than what we usually get at Hampton Inns, some food items weren’t available. Sausage was yellow/beige in color (unusual) and overly peppery. The worker did the best he could to refill and clean.

Overall, we couldn’t get out of the hotel fast enough.

We couldn't stay at our usual Hilton hotel in Macon because of being booked, so we drove up to just south of Atlanta in Locust Grove. It was getting late and we were tired so even though this was a bit pricy we stayed the night. After getting something to eat, we settled down for the evening and things began to get noticed. Around the edge of the platform bed, there was lint and dust balls on the carpet...looked like it wasn't even vacuumed. The shower walls looked like it still had soap scum on it. No wastebasket in the bathroom, but did have one in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable, but at some point during the night, the fitted sheet came loose on one side of the bed. Breakfast consisted of mostly spicey eggs and meats, no fruit and they kept running out of coffee. Needless to say, we probably will not stay there again in traveling through. This place needs some help.

The window frame in room 101 needs repair. The shower says it all … mold at the base of the shower and floor joint … there is a lot more dirt around the edges of the floor and throughout the room. The last straw was when we noticed the bed mattress sheet barely fit the bed. I had to get up two times during the night to recover the mattress with the sheet after it had come undone. I am a loyal Hilton customer! This room was very disappointing.

Overcharged me by $113.04, room had roaches in it, and please fix the beeping fire alarm that has been beeping for over a month since last time I was there and mentioned it. Called the hotel a week after they overcharged me for the room, manager said he look into it and hasn’t called me back (different manager then I dealt with just a week ago). Time to file a dispute with my credit card for the overcharge from the front desk staff m, who also took over a half hour to fix my initial room reservation, then the (previous?) GM said they fix it the next day. A week later I’m still owed the $113.04 and the (new?) GM hasn’t called me back after he said he would. Waste of time, mold in the bathroom, recommend a (any) different hotel in the area.

We were greeted by the loudest AC unit I've ever heard as we entered Room 212. We had traveled all day and had a late check-in. Room 212 is ADA compliant which my partner needs to accommodate his Parkinson's Disease. It was difficult for him to shower since the shower bar was not secured to the wall. We also noticed mold growing on the back of the bathroom door.||WE DISCOVERED THE CRIME SCENE IN THE MORNING....the mattress protector corner was peeling back only to show a questionable stain. After pulling the protector back further we noticed a huge stain of some sort of bodily fluid. ||We emailed pics of the mattress, shower bar, and bathroom to the front desk, and we alerted them about the AC unit. ||One would think a full refund would be in order, but, no, the hotel is only giving a 25% reduction to our bill. This is unacceptable!!!! I'd challenge any one of the staff to sleep a night on that mattress. HORRIBLE WAY TO RECTIFY A SITUATION! I am very disappointed with this Hampton Inn.

After a 14 hour drive, the last thing we wanted was to find a crabby front desk person and a bed that looked half made. Bottom sheets were not secured at the corners and the mattress pad was exposed. Try as we might we could make it fit. Too tired to complain or ask for new room so we figured out solution. Shower look was slippery should have a mat. I did express these concerns to Hampton Corp Guest Relations and did not recieve a satisfying reply. We have stayed here 7-8 times over the years but will look for a different place going forward.

Wifi was poor even after signing in
Towels were like sandpaper
Arrived at breakfast at 9am- no decaf coffee"ran out", no orange juice, muffins were stale, walnuts container empty for hot cereal, breakfast potatoes tasteless
Mattress uncomfortable( We always stay at Hampton Inns and mattress always delightfull). Very thin walls between room- could hear everything.
Train tracks nearby and horn heard at 11:30pm. Won't be going back there.

We rented a king room, the fitted sheet in the bed was for a queen size bed.. the mattress pad was dirty. The bathroom sink had makeup on it. The quality control is not there. Check the bed before you unpack. The manager did not call us back.
