We discovered the ranch almost by accident as we had a spare day before our flight home to the UK from Nashville, and decided to visit Georgia to tick off another State. We were recommended the Ellijay area, and settled on this as a good area choice and somewhere a little different. It's certainly different! The main house has some accommodation rooms, which share bathrooms, but we chose the overlook suite, which has a private bathroom. The accommodations are amazingly furnished and decorated, and the house is full of history. Pam, the owner was very friendly and gave us a tour of the house and grounds on arrival. The suite was very comfortable and well equipped, and breakfast was great, accompanied Pam telling us some of the history of the house. We wish we could have spent longer. The only drawback for some could be the proximity of the road which can be a little noisy (it didn't bother us as we live by a road anyway!). Also, if you are used to a Holiday Inn/ Best Western etc., you will find this a little different!! All in all a great experience.

Our first visit to the ranch was July 2024. Coming back for a Valentine's getaway is so much different. The main house has a house full of guests. The decor & plant arrangements have changed and are "apropos" to the season. Love the attention to detail & how at home we feel.

Waylon and I celebrated my birthday Oct 26 & 27 and had the most adventurous weekend!! Of course Pam’s breakfast was icing on the cake… AMAZING!! I welcome all my stays whether I alone or with friends and family and in 5 years there have been MANY VISITS with everyone who is special to me. I highly recommend the Ranch for relaxation, shopping and adventures. Waylon and I will always remember this weekend. Thank you so much Pam and Jane!!!

I stumbled upon this place during some research & instantly had a good feeling. I booked the master suite and left it at that. Fast forward to arriving…WOWWWW! This little ranch far exceeded my expectations. It’s authentic, historical, charming and enchanting. Pam, the owner, is the best communicator (and cook) and made sure our stay was perfect. If I could give Seventy-Four Ranch ten stars I would. I already can’t wait to go back, but we live in Texas so I’m trying to think of another trip to GA. 😆

This is a real working ranch with great breakfasts and comfortable cozy rooms. I spent my 70 birthday here as a treat from my spouse. Ms Martin is a gracious hostess who cares and loves for her beautiful horses. Ringing the meal bell was a special treat!

Wonderful experience!!! Definitely NOT city life. We ARE making plans to be back. Country-Rustic!! Made new friends. Pam is a great breakfast cook!!

What a lovely Bed & Breakfast?! Pam was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the main house and it was great. Bed was comfortable and everything was super clean. There were great common areas inside and outside if you want to interact with other guests. We met some really nice people. There was an amazing breakfast. After breakfast, we were offered a tour of the pasture (wonderful cows and horses) and were driven through it in the back of a truck. Super memorable and such an amazing property. I'd love to go back! Thank you, Seventy-Four Ranch B&B for a comfortable rustic ranch experience.

This was a life changing experience! When I searched for a place to stay to be near my sister’s wedding I had no idea what a special experience I was signing up for. Mrs. Pam and Manny are two of the most considerate host. I felt at home immediately. The horse back riding was so much fun and freeing. Their animals are some of the happiest I’ve ever seen. You can wake up and eat breakfast on the patio while watching the horses roam and roll happily in the field. I will be back to this beautiful ranch many more times!!
