What a lovely place, conveniently located near Main Street in Clayton Ga, but still tucked away and very private feeling. The inn maintains the character of a grand old building, with all the comforts one could want, including comfortable beds, satiny soft sheets, bright and well stocked bathroom, fireplace, and total quiet in the room. The decor throughout is beautiful and eclectic, and there are comfortable inviting areas to sit and relax both inside and out. And the breakfast!! What a delight to wake up to! Eli is a fantastic cook, and Marlon takes great care of the guests. They are a wonderful couple, friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. We had a super experience, and look forward to going back. Highly recommended!!

Beechwood Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. Marlon and Eli were the perfect hosts for a winter weekend get away...from the welcome glass of wine upon arrival to the chocolates waiting in our room, "wine thirty" every evening with delicious small bites, warm coffee mugs every morning at breakfast with a delicious muffin, cheese bread or tasty breakfast cookie to enjoy while waiting on our delicious culinary delight that Eli cooked each morning. Room was extraordinarily clean, cozy and comfortable. The view from the porch is amazing. Location is a very easy, convenient walk to town...even in the snow! We loved everything about it and were sad to leave. Looking forward to seeing our exceptional hosts again very soon!

Eli and Marlon are fantastic hosts in a wonderful location. It takes about 3 minutes to get to the awesome restaurants and shopping in downtown Clayton. The house is full of charm and their dedication to making it feel like home away from home is unmatched. The breakfast was awesome, bed super comfortable, hosts very personable and fun to talk to.

The perfect setting for our quick Spring getaway! The hosts are warm and welcoming, the home is beautiful, and our room was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Afternoon wine, truffles in the room, and a delicious homemade breakfast rounded out our wonderful stay! We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay this weekend! Marlon and Eli were fabulous hosts, so hospitable and welcoming! The property is beautiful and they have included so many great accents to make guests feel extra comfortable. The rooms are elegant and super clean. They have working fireplaces in the room which was a wonderful add of cozy. The beds are so comfortable with luxury sheets. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, so yummy! Eli is like a gourmet chef with a beautiful menu every morning. Every evening at 5:30pm, they served a complimentary wine30 happy hour with wine and appetizers on the porch which was such a lovely added addition to our stay, we loved it! The inn is so close to downtown with so many restaurants, within 4 minutes. The hosts gave us so many great recommendations for places to eat, drink and hike that we used for an excellent weekend. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend Beechwood if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Beechwood Inn. Marlon and Eli go above and beyond to exceed expectations. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a glass of wine and champagne as part of their evening Wine30, which also included delicious small bites.
The Inn itself was so beautiful. The room was cozy, impeccably clean, and so inviting. We stayed in the Stekoa Suite, which was spacious, featured a gas fireplace, and even had its own private entry. Each morning, Eli prepared a delicious breakfast, complemented by tea and coffee, which was the perfect way to start the day.
Marlon and Eli’s hospitality truly stood out—they made us feel like part of their family. We loved the meaningful conversations with them and enjoyed connecting with other guests at the Inn. The location was also ideal, offering a quick and easy drive to restaurants and Clayton’s attractions.
