My husband and I are not ones to try new things, yet we did stay at this traditional bed and breakfast. The owners Kim and Susan are wonderful hosts! From the time we made reservations until we left, they made us feel welcomed and genially cared about our stay. Kim met us at the vehicle and guided us into the house with explanations on entry and exit and details about the beautiful home as well as things to see and places to eat in and around Americus. The facilities were great and their attention to detail was evident from beginning to end. The room was great the pillowcases were pressed! Each morning was a delicious 3 course breakfast while greeted by Kim and Susan. It was clear that Susan placed much thought on the menu and her baking is as good as it gets! They even provided a to-go bag for our remaining muffins which came in handy later that day. We stayed two nights and so glad we chose this location over a hotel. We would encourage anyone considering a stay in Americus to stay at Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast! Kim and Susan are wonderful owners and have set the standard for traditional bed and breakfast Inns.

This is an excellent B&B, with friendly and knowledgeable hosts.||We stayed for 3 nights in March 2025 in the Veranda room.|The historic house is in beautiful condition, complete with period fittings. |The hosts Susan and Kim are welcoming, thoughtful and knowledgeable, giving advice not only on local restaurants but also the best way to see the sights. |Breakfasts were three courses of beautifully presented, delicious, locally sourced food (except the coffee- but that's Susan story to tell!!) with a new menu each day. It was during breakfast Susan and Kim took time to find out about us and share their local knowledge so we were able to make the most of our stay. We also appreciated the snacks and drinks made available to us at other times during our stay. ||AlI in all a 5 star B&B run by incredible hosts, who have truly found their vocation. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Americus Garden Inn B&B. Susan and Kim are the most gracious, friendliest hostesses we have ever experienced. We enjoyed getting to know them, as they did getting to know us. It is evident they love what they do and want to share with you how to maximize your visit there. Susan is an incredible chef with the most wonderful, scrumptious, and skillfully displayed breakfast you will find. Kim will entertain you with his knowledge of the history of the area and had great recommendations for site seeing. It is a beautiful, well maintained historical home and will not disappoint you! A highlight for us was the convenient location to Plains, GA where we enjoyed seeing the Jimmy Carter National Historical park.

We chose the Americus Garden Inn because it was an old house and we love the ambiance of older Victorians. Aside from a few maintenance items, the house was exceptional. We also chose this Bed and Breakfast for its traditional full breakfast, which was wonderfully tasty! Finally, we were hoping for interaction with the owners, who delivered. They gave us helpful suggestions of things to see in the area, carried on extensive conversation with us, and were generally awesome welcoming hosts. You will love your time at the Americus!

This historic house is in tip top condition complete with period fittings. It is everything a first class b&b should be.

Your very pleasant experience at Americus Garden B&B wil begin before you even arrive Susan, part of the creative team of Susan and Kim ( owners and hosts) called us to talk about our stay and to find out more about our needs for the stay . The B&B will exceed your expectations, an absolutely peaceful and beautiful home and grounds. So many little touches of hospitality from greeting us upon arrival, to a tour and history of the property, to snacks and chocolate on your pillow. The room was decorated with beautiful details and very comfortable . Our room had lots of natural light and a private exit to the veranda porch with rocking chairs. The breakfast was amazing. Delicious, creatively served and nothing ordinary. Each course was special in the way it was prepared and presented. Susan even wrapped up two of the muffins (she served us four) and packaged them for us to take on the road. On top of all of this magic, the kindness, and conversation that Susan and Kim shared made us feel as if we were saying goodbye to friends when are stay was over. A visit to this inn will leave a lasting positive impression and joy in your spirit.

We stayed at the Inn for three nights in February ‘25. The Inn is in a central location….allowing us to see and do many activities we had planned while in the area. The advice Kim gave us about visiting Andersonville was invaluable! Of course, the hospitality and breakfasts Susan and Kim provided were excellent. We will remember fondly the time spent there!

We stayed 2 nights and wished it was more. The owners are very friendly and inviting, from the warm welcome to the farewell they were very attentive and cordial. The inn itself is lovely, well-appointed and clean. Hosts provide everything you could ask for and more with a variety of beverages and snacks available. Our breakfast both mornings were creative, colorful and delicious! We would definitely recommend booking a room if your travels take you to Americus.
