This place is a gem for baked goods and pastries. It’s chock full of curios. There is Dubai chocolate bars, local grits, warm breakfast, and a variety of drinks. Make sure to grab all your items and then stand in line. I wish there was more seating.

This is such a cute but fully stocked wonder of variety items and fresh products. The bakery was fully stocked with great items and the patisserie was incredible. I got the strawberry fields and chocolate truffle…Wowzers. Great flavor, not overly or cloyingly sweet. The customer service is top notch and the barista was amazing. I did my normal request of having them play and do whatever they want with my coffee and they gave me a wonderful foamy somehow caramelized vanilla latte. They’re not limited to just baked goods but also artisanal cheeses and freshly made lunch items such as sandwiches that can made to order or ready to go. Would definitely visit again!

Hi, I am a Kong’s dad🐶

I tried lots of it though it was breakfast😅
The sandwiches were so fresh and yummy as well as coffee was very nice, I got latte with almond milk.
I ordered Portobello and Smoky Turkey paper for sandwiches.

I would really suggest the twice baked almond croissant among them.
It’s really crispy and full taste of almond.

I would definitely revisit soonest to try other menus👍

What an experience. I'm Argentinian, and I've moved up to the Atlanta area a couple of yers ago but I lived more than 90% of my life in Buenos Aires. Coming from a city that is highly influenced by European culture and cuisine, I've been challenged to find something that feels a bit like home in this massive city. Of course that's to be expected and I've adapted. There are some great bakeries, as in American bakeries all over the place and even some latin ones that are great to find and get something from.

What I wasn't expecting was Alon's. Oh my God. It's closer to Buenos Aires than it is to Paris to be honest, but even the spread of the things they have even beyond the bakery is amazing. I took some pictures so I wouldn't write a tedious long review and so you can see for yourself. Everything in the bakery looked delicious, closer to what I'm used to than any other patisserie I've seen in Atlanta so far and hold on, cold cuts and cheeses were amazing as well. They even have a deli inside and the food is just amazing.

I went in for a coffee and a cinnamon stick and ending up buying baked goods, cold cuts, cheese and even got me a ciabatta for lunch and a nice bottle of wine.

What a place. Loved it!

This is a cute place to enjoy coffee, which was evident from the atmosphere. Many of the customers here drank their coffee while talking amongst themselves. The people who worked there were kind and ensured you were being helped.

The food is okay. The pastry was not something I would recommend getting. It was evident that the stuff there looked lovely, but the flavor was lacking. The egg and gruyere panini wasn't delicious, but it also wasn't something I would never get again. The panini bread was delicious! It had a great crunch and softness to it. The bagels bread to cream cheese ratio was off but the bagels itself was great. It's evident that bread is something they are good at making.

I would recommend this place for the cuteness and small chit-chat, but not a place I would become a regular at.

So Alon’s is showing its age and I was not all that impressed except for the Petit Fors and a few of their cakes. The take out food looked meh, but alas I didn’t partake. The baguette that I bought at 11am was already hard and may have been left over from the day before. Just so y’all know I added a photo of a “European bakery” from a small town in Germany. The chocolate croissant and the apple pastry were good. I would say the other breads looked okay but I wouldn’t say there were great. It’s more like a neighborhood spot as opposed to a destination ow that Atlanta has grown up and there are so many other options.

I've been here a handful of times and each time, I've had great experiences!
I've only tried items from the bakery, and food bar and all have been exceptional.

Their almond croissant is so DELICIOUS, it has some sort of filling which surprised me, but it was so good!

Also, their Cilantro Lime Shrimp is to DIE FOR!! I always get that each time i go, always fresh and scrumptious!

The environment is great, family friendly, and you can enjoy your food on their outside sitting area. This place can seem expensive to some people but it is definitely worth it!

i orders a tray of miniature deserts for 12 people for $82.00 and was SO disappointed. the lemon tarte lets were 1 inch squares cut from a large tray, and the fruit tarts were one raspberry and one blueberry. There were no miniature eclairs. I had to send my husband out to buy a proper desert for our guests.
i used to be an immense fan of Alon’s in the past. I ordered my wedding cakes and deserts from them, and have catered many events with them. But this last experience was awful- I will not be ordering from them again. There are other gigs in town… They have crime way overpriced and product is disappointing.
