Very nice, quaint BNB. Fitzgerald is a cute little town off the beaten path. |We went to attend a concert at the Grand Theater and we were not disappointed.|Just what we were looking for to get a few days away.|The owners are delightful and add to the charm of the House's history.|Be sure to visit the Blue and Gray Museum, it's the best small town Civil War Museum we have ever visited, showcasing a rare collection of Civil War relics and artifacts.

My husband, toddler and I traveled to Fitzgerald, GA from Louisiana to pick up a trailer we bought and needed a place to stay. I’m SO thankful we found this place! Sherry was a dream to communicate with and made everything so easy, welcoming and comfortable! Our only wish was that we were able to stay longer!

Beautifully restored historic southern home in small town Georgia. The home is wonderful with antique furniture, big southern porch and beautiful garden area. The bedrooms are uniquely decorated combing old furnishings with modern convenience. The owners are very nice and provide a delicious breakfast. The only problem is the house was built in the early 1900s in an old prestigious part of the town which in those days meant good access to the train station, so the house is just a few blocks away from the train station and railroad lines. The trains travel through town many times every day and night so train engine horns every couple of hours during the night which wake you up. Also Fitzgerald is small town with limited options for dining. The Bed and Breakfast is absolutely the best place to stay in town to enjoy the old southern atmosphere and hospitality.

We were in town for a wedding at Harper Hill Plantation. This is my first time staying in a bed and breakfast and I absolutely love. I am so happy with my decision to not stay in a hotel. The check in was effortless, the accommodations, owners, breakfast, and experience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Dorminy-Massee house. Ask the owners for the story on their family home that was built in 1915. I almost forgot the best part is that you have complete control of your own air conditioner temperature! It gets super cool which is a big plus!!

We've actually stayed here twice in the last month while dealing with family business. The charming hosts were gracious, accommodating and made us feel very welcome at The Dorminy-Massee House. The rooms were meticulously clean - in fact the entire house and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, and this is the perfect place to relax in a quiet, peaceful environment at the end of the day. We'll definitely stay here whenever we visit Fitzgerald.

Had a wonderful stay with Sherry and Mark. They were not expecting any guests the night we stayed. In fact they about an hour away. They said it was ok to sit on the porch with a bottle of wine until they got home. The room was spotless! Breakfast the next morning was delicious. All in all a wonderful stay. This lovely Inn is one of the nicest I’ve visited in all of the South, and I do quite a bit of business traveling. It’s a very charming historic in where the hoes are direct descendants of the builders of this antebellum property.|The rooms are comfortable the style of decor. It is authentic and takes you back a century, and a half to a time when life was slow, and Southern hospitality was at its prime.|You can’t help but admire the loving energy that was put into this beautiful mansion. |The five guest rooms are all fabulously appointed. I would definitely recommend this place as it the most upscale in all of Fitzgerald.|Sherrie and Mark are fabulous hosts with lots of interesting stories. I stayed in the Dorminy Massee house, was the highlight of our visit to Fitzgerald.

Our stay at The Dorminy-Massee House was excellent! We spent the late afternoon enjoying the rockers on the front porch (best seats in the house). The interior of the home is amazing, and the owners are just as lovely. The room we stayed in had a King bed (great mattress) and plenty of room. We were in town to uncover some family (Harper/McMillan) history - Sherry and Mark were very helpful with local history. If you find yourself in this part of Georgia, you will definetely want to stay at The Dorminy-Massee House!
