Such a terrific birthday evening at the wonderful Waterside Restaurant! The beautiful hostess Dulce seated us at a private table with fantastic view. And served our meal so attentively and graciously. The manager was so very accommodating, and even served us drinks and checked on us regularly. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier or more memorable experience. We ALWAYS come here for our most special family gatherings, and so should you!!

The location is absolutely amazing, the park is beautiful and the pool area too BUT for the cost (which you have to pay an extra $20 to even access the hotel) it is not worth it. The beauty is the park, go to the park - dont stay at the hotel. The indoor pool was stinky, too hot and made our eyes water and my kids had a rash after. The outdoor pool was not heated so it was freezing but we didnt mind. There was a “hiking trail” - it was not marked at all - led on one side to the parking, to a heater of some sort and then to the park - but theres really no trail. It was confusing and theres also no lighting so walk early - not that its long (maybe 5min walk). The rooms are normal, nothing special. The balcony is nice but also nothing special. For the price I’d say overcharged. I had a better breakfast and check in at TRU by Hilton for 1/2 the cost. The room was too warm even when we had the AC on. The shampoo made our hair super dry so bring your own. I dont normally care about these but yikes. The worst is the staff - very dismissive and not attentive. At check in I tried to extend my stay and she kept saying its okay its okay but never actually helped. She ignored me completely and then blamed me for not being clear. I noticed this happened to other guests checking in and out. The manager is actually nice but won’t resolve any monetary disputes. For the cost, anything you want to do at the park is not covered. Breakfast was Buffet style but terrible taste, all dry and around $20/person which should be enough for an amazing buffet. Hell not expecting Vegas Buffet levels but for $20 should be decent. Not very kid friendly. Theres nothing to do except the pool.
The starbucks closes early and was subpar. I loved the park but felt very angry at myself for wasting money on this place. If the staff would have been nice or even listened, I wouldnt complain.

I recently stayed at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the views from the property were nothing short of breathtaking—perfect for unwinding. Its proximity to the park was a major highlight, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The in-house restaurant was a bit of a mixed bag; while the food we had was decent, they were out of several dishes and desserts due to it being off-peak season, which was a slight letdown. That aside, everything else about the resort was fantastic—great service, beautiful surroundings, and an overall relaxing vibe. I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

The view is wonderful. You're here for Stone Mountain, and this will give you a great view of that. The surrounding area also has really great natural resources beyond the mountain itself. Some staff stood out. The gentleman making the omelettes was awesome.

The property itself felt dingy and had walls/wallpaper that appeared to be warping really bad in the hallways and a permanent layer of yellow/green outside that looked like they just didn't bother to wash years of pollen off. I'm in a wheelchair and there were several lifts into the pools and even the hot tub (a rarity, and very welcome). The problem was they didn't work. I had maintenance come out, tried a few things, them gave a shrug. There were two other groups of guests during my time there that complained that they couldn't use any of the lifts either. Additionally, while the chess set outside was cool, it was falling apart. Also, the sheets were dirty with a brownish again on the edge. It just felt like there was a general laxity in property upkeep/maintenance.

We were passing through and only able to stay one night. This was a very nice resort right in Stone Mountain Park. We used the indoor pool and hot tub which were very nice. The kids even took a jump in the outdoor pool. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a pool view room and also a breathtaking view of Stone Mountain. My only complaint is that there was music playing by the pool until at least midnight and it was hard to sleep. Also there are a lot of fees tacked on to the price, in other words, it’s not a cheap place to stay. I do wish we could have stayed a few more days to enjoy the resorts amenities.

Everything was great. The pool was warm with plenty of pool towels. OMG the bar was great and the guy that made the drinks 10/10. Breakfast really wasn't all that good but it was ok 4/10. overall my stay was great will definitely be back soon and stay a little longer

I wanted to get away to a resort where the staff are all helpful and the hiking fills my soul. My room was comfortable and had a tranquil view of the lake. The Tavern buffet was savory meats, a vibrant spring mix salad, roasted vegetables , Mac-n-cheese, and dessert. I walked around the mountain the second day and met some of the nicest travelers.
