Excellent customer service and delicious food. I ordered Roti curry chicken and potatoes plus sorrel for the drink. The roti was fantastic, the chicken was well-seasoned and tender and the drink was superb. My grandson had 2 beef patties which were also delicious. I recommend this restaurant 100% for well-cooked Caribbean dishes.

My husband and I are both so glad we chose Step by Step Catering for our wedding in North GA! Chef Vanessa and her crew are an absolute joy to work with every step of the way, and the food is fairly priced, top notch delicious and beautifully presented. Step by Step worked patiently to answer accommodate a large variety of dietary restrictions and allergies, showed up to the venue on time despite the challenging location, and each staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming and helpful. We also want to extend our gratitude to Bethany for all of her help fielding questions, adjusting our menu, and scheduling.

Step by Step is absolutely worth the investment for any event. Chef Vanessa is a truly talented chef, an experienced pro and an angel on earth. Many thanks for feeding us all so well and making our big day even more special. ❤️

We are very lucky to have such a delicious place so close from our home. The food is really tasty. I don't think I can go anywhere else to have Jamaican food. I will give 10 ⭐ if I could. I will be back soon for more.

Step by Step Catering was a fantastic investment for us not just in terms of food but also of trust, care, and community. They really dug in deep to provide more than just a meal. They provided a feeling of home and family despite the diverse definitions of those words held by our guests and ourselves.

Given the immense emphasis that our Italian and Indian backgrounds place on food being a part of experience, we had especially high expectations of the meals, presentation, and overall presence from Vanessa and her team. They did not disappoint!! You can see on their faces and by their actions that they cared just as much about everyone as we did. Seeing them in action arose a jealousy in us wishing we had the ability to connect with total strangers in a way that felt like you were going to their warm and welcoming homes for a home cooked meal.

For everything, we say thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn't have asked for better friends and partners to help us make memories that would live in the hearts and minds of our guests and ourselves for a lifetime. I hope it goes without saying, that in the case that you find yourself looking for a real family to extend their love and craft to you, your family, and guests you can find it with Vanessa and her "work" family.

The proprietor was present on my visit and if you know Trini ppls, she is just like you expect, cheerful, inviting, pleasant, nice and willing to please As a vegan, I got in on the veggies, calaloo, beige limas, curried chickpea w/potato n squash. Most definitely pleased. You might want 2get sum of deh house made cucumber n ginger drink. The best. Good eats.

I used step by step to cater for a birthday party for 40 people. I had faith that the food would be good even though I hadn’t tasted anything and I was RIGHT! The food was incredible and guests at the party raved about the food. I got the lemon pepper chicken and garlic herb salmon. It was enough food for everyone to have a full plate and working with Chef Vanessa and her team was a pleasure. Highly recommend!

Vanessa and her team catered our daughter's wedding this past October. She's a joy from first meeting and her food is delicious. So many compliments from our guests. What's so special is that the team she brought was just as delightful as she is! They seemed to truly enjoy what they're doing. I was impressed by their professionalism. They engaged every single guest they served with cheerful conversation and a smile. I expected compliments on the food...I knew it was good! But it was wonderful to hear our guests talking about Vanessa's team with such glowing reviews. They made our reception even better!
