I had a great stay at this hotel! The place is clean, including the bathrooms, and I personally had no issues with the water temperature. I noticed some reviews mentioning cold water, but like any other hotel or home, it just takes a few minutes to heat upâjust let it run for a bit. The pool was well-maintained and clean.
Some doors were a little tough to open and could use some WD-40, but thatâs an easy fix. As for the barn-style bathroom doors, you really canât see through them, so I donât see the issue there. The staff was friendly and attentive, even taking feedback from previous reviews, which shows they care and are doing their best with the resources they have.
The hotel is conveniently close to the city. While the WiFi does cut out occasionally, it reconnects within seconds to a minute, so it wasnât a major issue for me. If youâre looking for something more upscale, you might want to check out hotels in the main city, but for the price, this place is a great deal. Plus, if you run into any issues with your room, they have a maintenance guy available to help.
Overall, itâs a solid stay for the price, and Iâd recommend it!

Location was a little wonky because there is a liquor store as you turn in so I rated location a 4 because u feel a little lost and out of place at first glance.
Service and room was 5âď¸! We paid less than $100 booking thru Expedia.
This is a 3 story, 3 section hotel. Room doors are on outside to parking lot. Not all sections have elevators.
We had clean sheets, room was clean and perfect. (No microwave but whoâs eating leftovers for a 1 night stay?) room did NOT have any smell or odor to it. Floor is the hardwood flooring that is the new modern type.
Area seemed safe we were in. I walked the perimeter looking around and to get ice. I sat by the pool (not in season yet) but calm and quiet.
There were no âweed smellsâ in the parking lot as other posts may have said.
Check in/out was seamless and no issues at all.
Missed breakfast because we wanted to have brunch with friends in Cabbagetown at the Carrol street cafe (those jalapeĂąo grits are fabulous).
If you are looking for a quiet, clean stay, look no further than this place. Donât let the price or nasty reviews make you miss out. Because I almost passed on it due to just not knowing and having to trust reviews.
Ps. Parking lot is big enough for U-Haul parking as well. Very spacious.
Will be going back in a few weeks and will stay again!

Wifi doesnt work, key cards donât work, no hot water.
All of which cause extreme discomfort and distress.
People are constantly arguing, fighting , or smoking in the parking lot. It is an extremely hostile, and turbulent environment to begin with- moving forward, and on top of that, the front desk manager was unprofessional and disgustingly out of line when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the hotel and lack of accommodation for my father who is handicapped when I came in to get the cards fixed.
She started wildly yelling and screaming in the lobby which was a shameless spectacle for all the unfortunate guests and staff in the free breakfast line.
Furthermore, the next day she blocked my disabled father from extending the stay due to towel stains. I completely believe this to be retaliation for the day before.
SHE BLOCKED A HANDICAPPED PERSON FROM HAVING A PLACE TO STAY âDUE TO TOWEL STAINS.â
In truth, she blocked a disabled person from extending the stay due to her extremely fragile ego. And to bring it altogether, I believe that she is racist which significantly contributes to the negative impact of this âestablishment.â
Iâve never been to a hotel so egregiously ill-natured and uncivil.
That is pure sick and evil however you couldnât pay me to extend the stay, at this point.
And last but not least, upon coming back to the hotel, the door was open with all of my fatherâs personal belongings and medical equipment exposed.
Iâm truly disgusted with this experience and will be escalating this issue to the right people.

Very run-down rooms. Beds were broken, sliding farm door for restroom barely closed. The sink n faucet didn't align, so water kept splashing. This is definitely not for family or single women. Didn't feel safe. Very sloppy refresh. Lobby was clean, but that's it.lots a lot of homeless walking around as their is a liquor store close by

Rooms were nice except no hot water , warm water & every time I say something about it they say ânobody complaining about itâ . WiFi and service not that good .Ms maria kitchen staff very sweet & genuine lady but most of the girls that work that front desk are rude or maybe just donât like black males .The manager offered something called a coat rate or something of that nature but when I called and mentioned it the young lady answering the phone immediately hung up in my face .

Very disappointed. No microwave oven in rooms. No exhaust fan in bathrooms. Internet lag so much you can't see anything. Pool it's green. Their excuse, "it's seasonal so no, maintenance." Lobby restrooms no paper towels but that must be because the is no soap either. Hmmm, I guess their personnel don't wash their hands either! Shows, no hygiene! Scary. Elevators only functional for employees. Apparently, ALL elevators are flooded for guests but not for personnel.

Needs a lot of work. First, the Wi-Fi is not consistent. If you plan on streaming or doing homework like I was, youâre gonna have a very difficult time.
Also, do not pay attention to the television which promised Netflix and other streaming services because they do not connect to those. False advertising from the television. This hotel does not know how to reprogram televisions.
Breakfast was good at first with eggs, sausage and waffles. There were also bananas and muffins as well as cold yogurt. However, a couple days later the sausage disappeared. Then, the bananas disappeared. The muffins disappeared. So depending on what day you show up, you may get half of a decent breakfast. No bacon, which is an American staple. They should really be more consistent with breakfast and add a breakfast meat every day, but there were only breakfast meats there a couple days out of my five day stay.
If you are staying several days, housekeeping does not come every day. I did not know this, and my trash was overflowing when I skipped one day because it was about four days before the next housekeeping came.
If you want privacy, do not disturb sign. Could possibly ask for one, but people had all different do not disturb signs on their doors.
If you are staying next to someone, in the adjacent room, expect to be able to hear everything they are saying. The walls are like paper.
Overall, this hotel, exemplifies the you get what you pay for motto. I got this hotel at a bargain, and the service was inconsistent, and itâs like a cheap hotel. If they gave better service, better breakfast, and overall was just more consistent with everything, it would be a great hotel.

I booked thru booking. It's advertised microwave in rooms. NOT TRUE. POOL it's only seasonal not all year therefore it's green from lack of maintenance. Elevators are for personnel not for the people staying. I stayed for three days and one of the personnel told me they have been saying that for s mighty long time. They continue to say that "ALL THE ELEVATORS" are full of water, and personnel used them at their own risk. ALL THE ELEVATORS, not just one but ALL. Sounds to me like saving electricity while providing access to personnel but not to paying customers. The bathroom has no air vent. I was told by Ana, at front desk, that hot breakfast included sausage, she forgot to tell me that that's only Saturday and Sunday, not during the week. And They advertise microwave ovens but again this is false. They don't, and I had no place to heat up my baby's milk. According to them the microwaves are in back order. The same employee told me, " no microwave in any of the rooms. I ask to refund my money but they wouldn't because AND CHECK THIS OUT, my reservation STATES, no refund. What a joke! I said, but the advertisement stated microwave oven, pool, and full hot breakfast ( not just eggs).
