Highly recommend this hotel, great location, and fantastic service. The rooms are spacious and fully functional, including the kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and kitchen utensils. They offer complimentary on-site breakfast. Please check the hotel for hours as it varies from weekdays to weekend. Large garage parking available. They have a fitness center and also on-site laundry. This was my first time staying there and definitely will return. If you are a Marriott member, it is a Marriott property ! The staff was delightful and very helpful, attentive during the breakfast rush, and giving them 5 stars for cleanliness.

Delta overbooked our hotel room here, as like many others. Grace was super helpful in helping us call around to other hotels to see if anyone else had any rooms. She even tried to find dirty rooms to clean real quick to get another room ready. Unfortunately we were not able to find any available hotels that Delta would reimburse. Grace and other employees helped pass out blankets and pillows for us to sleep in the lobby comfortably.

Even in the morning, they offered us toothbrushes and hot chocolate or coffee. Although we weren’t able to get a room there, the staff there were super helpful and caring. I can say if you do book with this hotel, your needs will definitely be fulfilled. We need more people like that in this world.

Staying here during my relocation to the area. The location is perfect for me and was easy to find from the airport. Got here a little early for Check-in, but the lobby area is so inviting and comfortable. There is plenty of varied seating. Yesterday was a long day. But I got a long peaceful sleep on the immaculate bed. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Got up to free breakfast buffet which was plentiful with several options(eggs. Breakfast Sandwiches. Juice cereal coffee juice. A lot of choices)
Wil be doing laundry on site after breakfast
There is a 24HR CVS,right across the street and some other dining options close by. I am so glad I chose the location. The staff are attentive, Professional, and always have Good Morning for you. If you have business at Emory this is where you want stay. Even if you don't you will be glad this is where you are. Highly-rated

This new Residence Inn is perfect if you're visiting Decatur. The rooms are modern, clean, large and quiet. The breakfast was great and we appreciated the large seating area. We met the Assistant GM, Chanell, who engages with her guests to make sure they are happy. There is a large medical center, CVS and a Whole Foods next to the RI. We will be back to this hotel again!

nice kitchen sink,
medium refrigerator w/ freezer, and ice maker and tray.
2 burner hot plate stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, instant boiling water into cup style coffee maker.
Dining table 4 chairs, living room, TV, couch-bed, chair.
Mini office with light and desk.
Bedroom with TV, we had 2 queen beds, or you can have a king.
Makeup desk with large mirror and light just before the bathroom.
Bathroom was large, large shower
Multiple outlets with USB charging ports in every room.

Only thing missing is a very dim night light in the bathroom.

Great stay. Clean, smell good everywhere and the staff was amazing. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and welcoming. I was assisted by the Asst. General Manager, Ms. Stringer. Ms. Stringer, your leadership is a blessing that your employer should thoroughly appreciate. I’ll be sure to stay again when I visit the area.

Place is clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff is nice, but if you’re a hot sleeper, don’t book here. Their A/C system has a cost-saving function built in where it won’t stay on all night, and shuts off automatically. I suppose people like to crank their AC so that it’s cold when they come back, and the company does that to save money, but when my girlfriend and I have to wake up a few times a night and I have to get up to manually try to force the AC to turn on, that’s a problem. We were there 5 nights, and we kept thinking something was broken for the first 3 nights until we figured out that it was set that way on purpose.

Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I have stayed here a few times in the past and never had any issues. Previously I would pay $10 for parking and was not required to do anything further. This time, I was charged $15 and was required to give my license plate number and a contact number. The clerk said I had to put the receipt in my windshield or I would be towed. I never had to do any of this before and as a female travelling alone, I was not going to go out to the parking lot in the dark alone and do this after I had already checked into my room. I received a phone call at 12:30am and they left a voicemail from Chanel Stronger the assistant general manager stating that I did not register my vehicle and that there was no parking tag on the dashboard and I had 10 minutes to call her back or I would be towed. And that if I didn't place the receipt by 6am, my car would be towed. I woke up at 630am to these messaged and called immediately and was told that my car had already been towed and that I could take an Uber to go get my car. They gave me the information of where my car was towed to and it was across the city. I called and they were not open until 9am and that I needed an entire list of documents to get my car out and that I would have to pay $230 in cash. I was travelling for work at the hospital and could not get to my shift in time and was stranded without a car. They even sent me the receipt that I paid for parking. I was able to retrieve my car after having to pay an Uber to work and to the tow lot. I feel absolutely disgusted that this happened and I feel like this was a scam. I will be reporting this to Marriott and will never be coming back to this place.
