My daughter and I stayed for one night here after a LONG flight from Sydney, Australia. We were meant to arrive around 9 pm, but had issues with the rental car at the airport, so were after 11 arriving. The night staff were just amazing, welcoming us warmly and offering us water and hot drinks (available in the lobby).||Our room was sparkling clean, wonderfully spacious and quiet, and the beds were super comfortable. All was perfect until the next morning when the housekeeper knocked on our door at 10 a.m. for no apparent reason. (Checkout time is 11.) She then kept peering into our window and loitering by the door. We'd organised a slightly late check out with the night staff, asking if we could leave just before 12, as we were meeting friends for lunch nearby and were tired after such a long journey.||The housekeeper unfortunately kept knocking on our door every 10 minutes and peering into our window, with her hands and face pressed up against the glass. I finally just opened the door, despite it being the middle of December and very cold, so that she could see everything we were doing. We'd have been out much sooner if we weren't harassed every five minutes by this rude staff member.||It was a terribly disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant and wonderful stay, so the housekeeping staff clearly needs reviewing. Such behaviour is completely unacceptable. If the housekeeper was concerned about something, she should've had the front desk staff phone us, like any rational person would do, rather than loitering like a hovercraft outside our window, peering in, making my child feel extremely uncomfortable.||I explained the situation to the front desk staff upon checkout, who were understanding, stating that the night staff had not communicated with them.||But the inn itself is wonderful. No frills but clean, comfortable, and spacious, with everything you need for a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the free parking and WiFi and the especially lovely night staff who welcomed us so graciously after a harrowing travel experience. My recommendation: keep the curtains drawn. You'll be in the dark, but you'll have your privacy, at least.

The hotels is economical, friendly and clean. The staff featured Barbara, Tiffany and Matthew. We interacted most with Tiffany who was very driven to connect, assist and respond to your needs. Matthew checked us in in a personal way and really attempts to welcome you. Barbara was available too and undertands how to be a good employee and also answers questions. The property is clean. The rooms are big. The hotel is basic so imagine a Clean Days Inn. Good price.

The University Inn at Emory was the best choice we could have made for our trip. My husband had appointments at Emory on January 6. We went directly to The University at Emory and were so pleased. The staff was so kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Getting to the hospital was a breeze--only two blocks away, so convenient and easy to manuever. We will definitely use The University Inn at Emory for our next visits to Emory. Couldn't have asked for more!

The staff met our every need. The hotel is convenient to Emory Clinic and Hospital Midtown in Atlanta and offers a special rate for those needing treatment. This was the second stay by me wife and myself and we will be returning in a few months for another visit.

Liked: Check in was easy and the the desk staff was very pleasant. It is very close to Emory University. The room was large. The beds were comfortable. The showers had good water pressure. The hot coffee in the lobby was good and was available all day.||Needs improvement: This is more of a motel than a hotel. It is a very old building. There is a lot of street noise. We had a room on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. The rooms was large and spacious but everything is older. The shower had good pressure but the tile was very worn. We were there 2 nights and they only gave us a tiny shampoo and a tiny soap. One out of the two lights above the vanity in the bathroom was not working. The towels are basic and thin. I did go to the front desk and they have me more shampoo and soap. ||But the worse part is that the Inn was empty but they put people on both sides of us. At midnight, the couple next to us started having a loud discussion and turning up the TV. I asked them to quiet down but they continued for 2 hours both inside their room and outside their room in the walkway. The walls are paper thin. We could not sleep. The front desk told me others complained that evening but they did not do anything about it.||Breakfast is very basic. They had things like yogurt, pastry in a wrapper, juices and oatmeal packs.

Matthew was great and very helpful. A few things:|I am disabled and have trouble walking on stairs especially carrying bags. An elevator would be an addition.|One might get tetanus from the rust on your railings |Breakfast now for many is not ideally a sugar high, in fact it is to be avoided.|Otherwise a pleasant stay - thanks

My husband was having surgery at Emory Hospital which was across the street on March 13, 2025 so we arrived on the 12th. We requested the 1st floor so he didn’t have to go up and down stairs. Our room was nice and quiet so we could get a good nights sleep.|We had to leave at 5:30 am and the parking lot was well lighted.|Too early for breakfast but we had planned ahead for that.||Everyone at the front desk was very helpful.|Plus we got a good rate by mentioning that he was having surgery when we made our reservation.

Older hotel, stained tub and toilet from age, however, it is REALLY CLEAN, old furnishings, bed....not the best but comfortable. Huge room. Nice surroundings. Front desk awesome!! It was nice to hear the staff compliment each other. I would definitely stay again.
