This is my second time at Moe’s. This time I had the brisket platter with mac n cheese and green beans (see photo). Overall, I have found everything at this place thoughtful and well made. A couple of details might make it all even better.
The brisket had a nice flavorful rub and a great smokey flavor. The brisket is on the leaner side so it ended up being a bit dry and chewy in places. It’s also not served particularly warm.
The mac n cheese is better than most places. The flavor profile is mellow and nice with great character. Some of the macaroni noodles have edges that got dried out in the process making them hard to chew.
The green beans are nice and seasoned with bacon pieces but the smoky flavor doesn’t come through as much as you expect. Like the other items, the green beans would have been even better if served warmer.
Great cornbread — also not very warm.
The ribs I had on my previous visit were excellent.
The service was friendly. The cashier did a lot of coughing at the counter, though.
I look forward to coming here again when I’m passing through the area and trying more from the menu.

Mac and cheese had a bad taste, baked beans did not have meat in it as they stated. Ribs was kind of falling off the bone but bbq sauce they have was horrible but that’s just my opinion.

The food was DELICIOUS

I ordered the large platter of ribs with corn bread, slaw and Mac with a sweet tea.

The ribs were cooked perfectly, the corn bread is on another level! The slaw is not your typical creamy slaw, it's better! The Mac was good as well. And their sweet tea was perfect.

Was not a fan of the cornbread casserole. Little too much Sage flavor for me. The coleslaw was a fermented type. A little bit Tangy flavor but very sweet on the back end. It was very good. I had the barbecued pork which was excellent. And the price who is very reasonable for what you got. Overall I was very pleased with the meal.

So I'm a trucker and this place is right next door. The lady that helped me was so friendly and awesome. The place is more old school. No bar but they sell 12 oz cans at 5 bucks. Now the food. I order a 6 rib combo with pulled pork added, collards and brocolli n cheese casserole. The total, 48 bucks! Now the flavor was fantastic. The ribs were amazing, the cornbread was the best I've ever had n the collards were tender and amazing. The casserole was cold n cheese curtled and the pulled pork was ok but underseasoned and for 48 bucks I only recieved 1 tiny spoonful. In pics is the amount. So food taste was great but take out a second loan to get it. And the pulled pork amount was for a toddler very disappointed. I'm parked right next to building, get more food at wendys tmw tho. What are we rashioning pork? Do better yall.

We love Moes BBQ! We had one when we lived in SC and we were so excited when we found out we had two close by when we moved to AL! Everything is always delicious but family favorites are the wings, cornbread and skillet corn! I love this location as well! It’s always clean and feels welcoming!

Damn good. I actually went back the next day before hitting the road again.

The wings may have been some of the best I've had. The sides were great. I also tried the Redneck Nachos with pork, not bad at all.

It was a good value for the price, and the location is as convenient as it can get for someone driving through.
